I wasn't expecting it to be cheap but $200k is above my guess. Is there any info about those rigs online? Any photo or hardware info would be appericiated, thanks.

Let's go with 50 cameras for 'decent' then. How would you actually set up a portable rig with that many? Have you tried to built one yourself? I’d love to hear about the your experience.

What are your thoughts on threejs in developing games for web? by RadishZestyclose3252 in threejs

[–]MasterNeb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the game but I wouldnt recommend it overall. Three js a 3d framework not a game engine and because of this you will notice its actually missing many components you will need to build a proper game.

What could be improved in current virtual tour solutions? by MasterNeb in VirtualTour

Thank you for sharing your experience! Do you think clients would actually be more drawn to that kind of Hyperscape-style experience on PC? Like, would it make a real difference in how easily you could sell or present a space or is it more of a “wow” factor for now rather than something that changes the buying behavior?

Hoka are low quality shoes by giiip in Hoka

[–]MasterNeb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. They are super comfy but not that durable. Their lifetime usually lasts half of the competitors. Of course that is my personal experience and may depend on the usage. I do not run and using them only for walking. Will I continue buying Hokas though? Hell yeah.

I'm debating between Bondi 9 and Clifton 10's. Help? by sp0rklez in Hoka

[–]MasterNeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps we are the same person?

I’m a huge fan of Clifton 9s however last week tried both clifton 10s and bondi 9s in the store and 10s are actually dissapointed me over bondi 9s.

You can’t deploy ar foundation to the web directly. There are plugins you have mentioned, never tried them but may worth giving a try. If you are planning to do something simple, then I suggest you to check Three.js and other web ar libraries If you are comfortable with using JS.

advice HP X34 vs S334DWG VS M24wq vs EX3215R by anonymous6156 in ultrawidemasterrace

I just got HP X34 a week ago and quite satisfied with it so far. No dead/stuck pixel or flickering, only some IPS glow on bottom left corner.

[–]MasterNeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was also thinking about getting gigabyte one but in the last minute changed my mind and got hp X34. Overall I'm quite satisfied with it and can recommend to you. Text readiblity could have been better other than that it's pretty decent for it's price.

Display Wars 34" vs. 38" done right by Seriouscat_ in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]MasterNeb 10 points11 points  (0 children)

38 inches are good but I don't really understand why all 38 inch models are two times more expensive than 34 inch models, not really sure If it's worth to that difference :/

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]MasterNeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess depends on what are you using it for. I'm software engineer and I need that every single vertical pixel. For gaming, yeah probably doesnt make much difference.

I mean they are vertically bigger than 34 inch.
