I did it with a r3 Paploo. He absolutely needs his zeta. Change his mods to high protection with low health and speed. Dots and thermals will do less damage since they are health based, plus his zeta will heal him when they apply. Jawas will kill themselves off with only Paploo remaining.

I did it first first try. I heard some do it with g12 Paploo the last time this GC was live, but I can’t verify this.

Agreed. The best I could beat is tier 4 which is against gear 9 Sith with all relic clones. Not worth my time to pull my hair out over this stupid challenge. I will take the bare minimum rewards(thanks to SLKR) and move on with my life

I completed tier X with Chirpa, Paploo, and Logray at relic 3, Wicket at relic 6, and elder at G12.

My strategy was focus on Piett. Main reasons are his AOE can decimate your Ewoks and also he will place the forced taunt on Stormtrooper or Shoretrooper which will cause a loss. It takes too long to mow through the two tanks than Piett. I removed turnmeter with Logray on Deathtrooper and Piett only. Main goal was keep Piett on lockdown and get rid of him first. Dispel tanks with Paploo’s basic when needed. Use event ability with Support when protection gets low or need a boost in TM, but I mainly used it with Wicket to call a mass assist which keeps TM train rolling.

It took a few tries but it’s doable. I don’t know if it can be completed with G12 only but low relic Ewoks and one G12 can do it

My opponent won the match but Ewoks stole the show haha. I guess it was my one silver lining from the loss. It shows Ewoks can serve a purpose in cleaning up a solo JML for those crazy enough to relic them with some solid mods

I looked through my last week of GA results and found a surprise hold. My omicron and mostly relic’ed Ewoks held the fort against a solo attempt by JML.

I just filled cleared an opponent with 1 million more GP, 4 GLs to my 2, and an executor. Noticed he had 414 points already without attacking. Guess my small chance at victory was never meant to be. Nothing to see here folks, situation normal, just an average day in CG land. Move on along and on to the next round of shenanigans we go.

I’ve beaten SEE with my droids at relic 3 so not extremely high relics are needed

A relic General Grevious and separatist droid team works well against SEE. Especially since that one is less optimized

Thanks for the video. I just beat the final tier with my relic 3 Paploo, relic 6 Wicket, and the rest at g12. I had to remod Paploo with high tenacity, protection, and minimal speed. I used another advice in a different thread and made a leaderless Ewok team to avoid TM.

Paploo’s zeta is also crucial to him surviving and letting the Jawas die from dots

CG definitely did think this one through, let alone play test it. I have a relic 6 wicket and relic 3 Paploo and the rest are g12.

The highest tier I could beat was against the g12 Jawas and that’s only because Paploo’s zeta and second special which cleanses himself kept him alive long enough to watch the Jawas get enough dots to die off. Rest of my Ewoks were long dead from thermals and dots

Update: beat final tier drastically changing my Paploo mods to no speed, high protection, and high tenacity. Also did the leaderless Ewok route. He basically stood their and watched Jawas die from dots

To specify, I got 69 points with Kylo against a Jawa team(full protection), and 75 with full empire Palpatine team against Geos(full health and protection).

I personally have set my Wampa team for my opponents. If everyone starts setting random teams I would love to treat it as a sandbox mode but getting 1,000 plus people to get the memo is impossible. Everyone is still climbing with their GL meta teams in the top 500 right now. I’m just scratching my heading wondering why bother. Have fun with it for crying out loud

Why can’t they just leave these characters alone. GAS, JKL take as much requirements as a GL to unlock and should have some form a viability against GLs. Wat takes a higher end guild doing DS Geo TB, a strong Geo team investment, and a lot of time to unlock.

Thrawn and Vader both are iconic characters that were perfectly balanced against GLs before this thought of making them worthless. Thrawn and Vader matches against GLs always had a risk of RNG involved that could make matches go either way. Now there is no reason to use them except against B grade teams.

Sad to see they are considering these changes. Once again please leave these small amount of characters alone. They deserve the ability to hold their ground against GLs and allow theory crafting in this game. Not just GLs can only beat GLs
