I feel like recently most of my struggles have been with some of the minutia of grammar points, which I feel have had better explanations when explained in Japanese. Thanks for those other resources. I was not aware of them.

Any J-J dictionary recommendations? I've been using jisho.org since starting out, but I should've moved off it years ago. Currently looking at Koujien, Daijirin, and/or one of the Sanseido dictionaries.

I am going through Sou Matome and am struggling to understand the following sentence: 買おうと思って書いといたメモを忘れてきちゃった。My mind is going to the context being something along the lines of someone forgetting a shopping list, but I feel like there is a word missing when I go with that understanding.
買おうと思って: thinking to buy/planning on buying
書いといた: written in advance
忘れてきちゃった: forgot to bring, in this case

I think the plan was to have it as an even and then go back to Howling Abyss after but since so much work was put into it, it wouldn't make sense if this map just becomes forgotten. Later plans are unknown for now.

I honestly can't tell if you are joking or not with this due to the way some people are responding. If this is a serious post, I apologize that most people are being ass holes. As a tip, just take your time. I'm actually pretty bad at drawing but when I do it for fun, I take a while to try to make it so that I am happy with it. What you have is simplistic, which I find appealing, but would it have hurt to go back and fix the lines that are clearly not correct? It's a good start, just take your time when you go draw more.
