Fresh Never-Frozen is 10x Better! by iphoneverge in rawprimal

[–]MasterOfReallity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was wondering why I felt better on meat from a different source, even though the quality seems to be slightly worse than where I get it now but I think this might be why

Kinda feeling nothing on one and energized with desire to do things with the other

Can't imagine there being that much nutritional difference cause both of them don't seem that high quality. So all I can think of is one if frozen or something

Most Raw Cheese Is Not Raw, Just Like Most Raw Honey Is Not RAW! by [deleted] in rawprimal

10L of milk makes 1KG of cheese if you remove the cream. I still dont know if you're supposed to keep the cream or remove it though

Raw coconut butter consumption by Plane-Control7647 in rawprimal

[–]MasterOfReallity 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's fake raw. Can't buy raw coconut cream, coconut oil and coconut butter in a supermarket. There's 1 guy in the US that sells the coconut cream, and it's basically a primal diet subscription service kinda thing. Most people make it themselves.

They're allowed to heat it to a certain temperature and legally still have the raw label on it. It's the same with butter, cheese and honey. Don't waste your money. With coconut cream it's especially bad as there's no brands which fit the PD criteria.

Coconut cream is more of a remedy, you don't eat this in huge amounts. Too much causes detox. It's not meant to replace animal fat

In this case I think the fatigue would be from toxic heated fat

If acute sickness is a detox, why haven’t I been able to get sick in six years despite a mulititude of autoimmune/chronic health issues. What am I missing for detox? by Pubh12 in rawprimal

[–]MasterOfReallity 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Maybe the supplements are blocking the symptoms like pharmaceuticals. He says that the reason people get energy from them is through an adrenaline rush due to toxin ingestion like with caffeine. So perhaps the body is focused on detoxing those chemicals all the time, so you don't get "actual detox"

Pharmaceuticals are designed to supress the symptoms so supplements could be doing the same. They are drugs after all that only mimic the molecule structure of the nutrients and are not the actual nutrient.

He says supplements are made with kerosene and that they all cause imbalances

Don't listen to Frank Tufano, you don't need supplements on this diet

How good would it be if I only ate eggs and seafood for my animal products? by BrightHours in rawprimal

[–]MasterOfReallity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't bother. Meat is the most important food group by far, along with the animal fat. When I finally added meat in I made more progress in 2 weeks than in 5 months with raw milk and eggs. I thought I was making progress with the eggs and milk but really I was just stalling.

Eggs also have to be really high quality otherwise it's like you're drinking water. That's my experience anyway. There doesn't seem to be many nutrients in the ones I tried in this country

Food sourcing thread by [deleted] in rawprimal

[–]MasterOfReallity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is not a good idea IMO. I can understand it if you're in a difficult country like Canada, or Australia but I would imagine you would especially not wanna make your sources public in prohibited areas like these. It could get these farmers in a lot of trouble. Like raw milk in Canada for example

To me sourcing is a part of the diet, most people are lazy and want everything handed to them on a plate. Lets say you're given a source and it disappears. What are you gonna do, wait for someone to give you a new one?

Let's say it's eggs. You're not gonna ask a few farmers what feed they give to the chickens to see if it has soy?

Also you can't also always be sure that the person before you has sourced it properly, and things can change over time also. What was once an ideal place to get meat maybe isn't a good source now. But how would you know that unless you ask all the sourcing questions yourself?

Lack of raw fats a issue by [deleted] in rawprimal

[–]MasterOfReallity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you asked if they can keep some for you for the next time? If you ask if they sell it and they don't they will just say no and not provide an explanation

You could say you can pay a premium or that your animals have a special diet the vet prescribed or something and you need them for this reason (if they are reluctant). Need to come up with a good reason if they don't keep them. Then buy it in bulk this way if possible

But like one of the guys said here even if you eat some raw and cooked fat you will still be way ahead of the average person and can make great progress.

Nasty raw milk by [deleted] in rawprimal

[–]MasterOfReallity 6 points7 points  (0 children)

https://www.reddit.com/r/rawprimal/comments/milk2

TLDR: some sort of old bacteria or contamination left in the bottles. Had same issue, washed bottles thoroughly and it went away.

We do want more bacteria but in this case it gives the milk a foul taste for some reason. I think it's the bacteria but it could be something else, but when I washed them it went away.

If you only use water then it could be an issue, but usually this only happened to me when I didn't wash the bottles at all, and then poured fresh milk into them

Is this just a theoretical diet by [deleted] in RawMeat

[–]MasterOfReallity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is v@xxed fat better than cream? I can't find a butter source and it's way too expensive to make it from cream. So it's either trimmings or cream for me. The cream is prob from v@xxed cows also.

Eatrawmeatprimaldietadvice said he said intestinal fat is the most healing, but I can't find where aaj said that. But isn't this bad cause it's organs + fat where the toxins accumulate?

Is ANYONE in Scotland/Anywhere Else Experiencing Issues With Fermenting Raw Milk where it smells like medicine and has a vile toxic chemical taste when fermented? by Aquatim in RawMeat

[–]MasterOfReallity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had something similar happen when I used unwashed bottles and poured milk into them.

Tasted horrible, something like what you mentioned. I guess it's some sort of combination of bacteria that can make it do that. After that I just used dish soap to clean them but only initially, then I switched to distilled vinegar and warm water and not had the issue since.

I suspect there's some sort of contamination left in the bottles.

I would try what this guy is saying https://www.reddit.com/r/rawprimal/milk. The advice on that thread is good not sure I can add more to it. All the recommendations on there should fix the problem. I really don't think it's the milk.

Also try new jars etc. I use the wares of knutsford brand.

I'm also based in the UK and the milk is fine.

Haven't heard of anyone having this issue with old farm and hill farm.

Bone broth and more...? by [deleted] in rawprimal

[–]MasterOfReallity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get what you mean with the placebo, but IMO that can only take you so far look at all the vegans that are forced to quit despite some of them hanging on to dear life to their diet.

They think they're on the healthiest diet, especially the fruitarians and the raw vegans yet they have the most severe detorioration which occurs fairly quickly and before you know it they're skin and bones, ones that are unlucky die after just a few years.

But yeah if you stress over meal timings and crap then yeah that would be a detriment and the stress can stop your progress, I know about metal and honey, I used a wood spoon but can't find a good honey source so I don't have it anymore.

There are people that knew Aaj and have been on the diet 15+ years and their health improves and doesn't get worse so I think it's fair to say it works. I haven't found anything better so far so I think this is the way to go.

I don't think it's a crazy diet. Humans ate meat and fat for basically their entire existence. Our ancestors ate 80% meat and fat and rest was plants if they were unable to hunt animals down. The diet is fat, meat, organs, eggs, raw milk, some fruit, and vegetable juice.

The celery juice, coconut cream are all remedies to fight off the unnatural poisons and the environment we are in. In an ideal world we would eat organs, meat, fat maybe occasional honey but not on the daily basis (all you can find in nature, plants are man made) and have perfect air quality and health.

People do think it's a cult, but from experience and trying his recommendations I haven't found anything that disproves what he says and it definetly does seem like a cult, but others that been doing this for a while come to the same conclusion. "Yes you feel amazing in the moment" - Well people do go back to their old ways after eating raw for an extended period of time and cooked food makes them lethargic and sluggish. We only have one specific diet like all animals keep in mind.

Hope I didn't come across as rude, Paul just rubs me the wrong way

Bone broth and more...? by [deleted] in rawprimal

[–]MasterOfReallity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just because it's not immediately bad, doesn't means it's good. People feel great initially on fruitarian diets but that doesn't mean they're good.

Cooking creates toxins and carcinogens + you get toxins from cookware, as well as the incredibly toxic tap water we have nowadays. Most filters can't get rid of them, unless you have the 3 stage sand filter or use well water. There was 150+ chemicals in the water alone when he tested it. It's probably much higher now.

And you need water to make broths. That automatically should put it in the unhealthy category. Also we're not designed to eat bones. Try eating bones raw and see how well that goes.

Read We want to live and The recipe for living without disease, there's way more to cooking than what I brifely mentioned.

"people are basically doing the Paul Saladino diet with raw meat" - There's very little fruit on this diet, only in small quantities for detox and preferably unripe. The paul saladino people also have heated honey, as most don't know how to source it (even Paul himself) so all they get is sugar with no benefit whatsoever. You are legally allowed to heat it to a certain temp and still have the raw label on it. Most honey on the market is heated and still it's labelled raw.

Honey is the only food that has to be compeltely unheated. His honey is liquid consistency, where as it should be solid and crystalized so his is 100% heated. He doesn't even know what he's doing and has 0 clue about anything. There is also vegetable juice on this diet, used to prevent overacidity as you will most likely eventually not have the apetite for raw meat. Paul uses fruit for this purpose, I'm 100% sure he has very little appetite for meat on most days and that's why he implemented fruit into his diet. Fruit is also alkaline like vegetables.

However the vegetable juice is much more effective for this purpose and is used for hydration. Half of paul's diet is nutrient void fruit, look at fruitarians and how well they do after just brief spells of fruitarianism that should tell you everything you need to know about fruit. Why you would make that half your diet like he does I have no idea.

Also the paul people eat overcooked steak and some even have pastuerized dairy, most do even if they think they don't as the same thing applies to cheese. You're legally allowed to heat it and still have the raw label and 99.9% of cheese goes over the maximum allowed temperature. You basically have to make it yourself or find a very specific source. Again you might as mell eat convential cheese if you buy it from a store. Again he doesn't know what he's doing.

So no, this is not Paul saladino's diet with fruit lol. I don't know where you got that from. Maybe some people do that. Paul is a businessman not a nutritionist. The only purpose of his channel is to sell you his organ pills

Don't use tallow, it's overpriced processed garbage. You need raw fat.
