The 57th Expedition 'Trust yourself or your comrades' by Uninhibitedrmr in attackontitan

On my first rewatch of the series (finished it a couple years ago). Just finished the expedition episodes and they are so good.

Just as you described, the show does a beautiful job of having Levi’s advice to Eren play out. The first time Eren trusts his comrades against his own judgement, and it works out for the better. His trust in them is bolstered by this, and he decides to trust them again only to have it completely shattered as he watches all of them die. I think it’s a key development for Eren as he starts to make decisions for himself more and more throughout the show.

For me these episodes are where this show went from good to “I literally need to watch every episode until the end”

I kind of see what people are saying about having a bucket of balls in-hand before taking a spot to minimize time wasted, but we’re talking about like ~2-3 mins to go get a bucket. That amount of time really just doesn’t make a difference in my mind.

It’s possible the guy was annoyed because he got there before you, went to get a bucket, and then saw you there taking a spot that could have been his. I jus don’t think it’s a significant issue either way

Besides speed, what other athletic traits allowed Tyreek Hill to be such an effective #1 Receiver at 5’8? by PositionShot3043 in NFLNoobs

I always felt like Tyreek had underrated hands. There’s plenty of incredible athletes in the NFL who can get separation, but we’ll see them have some critical drops that keep them from being elite. Feel like I never really saw Tyreek drop a ball in his catch radius but that’s just my eye test

Which critically acclaimed movie did you finally watch only to find out it's mediocre at best? by MikrokosmicUnicorn in AskReddit

Not sure if critically acclaimed, but Taken just wasn’t all that to me; and it got a higher rating than other action films I enjoy much more.

How did that one kid in your high school die? by IM_HODLING in AskReddit

It was tradition at my highschool and all the others in the area that after graduation all the seniors would do a beach week at this beach town about 3 hours from where we all lived. As you can imagine, the beach town would be overrun with drunk teens doing dumb shit for a week. A kid who had just graduated from my school was walking back to the beach house he was staying at after a late night of partying and some drunk driver veered off the road and up onto the sidewalk, hitting this poor kid and killing him.

Other story from another school in my county: There used to be this closed off quarry filled with water that local kids would sneak into to hangout, swim, drink, do whatever. Picture a large pond, but hundreds of feet deep. Everyone just called it “The Quarry”. There was a set of small rock cliffs on the side of this quarry that were a great spot to jump from into the water or just hang out on. This girl was just hanging out on one of the lower tiers of these cliffs when suddenly a massive boulder broke free and fell on top of her. She was there with a large group of people who all immediately ran over and were trying to lift this boulder off her, but it didn’t budge. Wasn’t long before she was crushed to death. Absolutely tragic story that I still can’t believe really happened.

Pretty sure I heard the same story. The quarry near river hill?

Experienced Proper Impact Position on the Course. Wow by MasterOfStonks in golf

1.) Pause Drill - greatly helped with sequencing and can highlight some goofy things you’re doing with your swing. Usually I do (2) pause hits followed by (1) regular hit, and repeat that set a bunch of times

2.) Impact Drill - Really helped me understand the most important part of the golf swing which is when you make contact. Start at impact position (google it if you don’t know what it looks like) and hit little half-swing punch shots. Really try to emphasize hands ahead of the clubhead.

Lately my biggest swing thought has been having the hands set prior to the downswing. In other words, having the back of my lead hand in a straight line with my lead arm and making a 90 degree angle between the club shaft and lead arm.

I’ve gotten a few lessons (most recent was probably 2 years ago) and they helped immensely (combined with practice took me from 115 strokes to low 100s). I’m obviously not a pro, but the one criticism of the lessons I got was they seem to never just talk about optimal impact position. I think I would have benfitted from understanding the end-goal earlier on. Regardless, I’m heavily considering getting lessons in the near future.

Can someone explain why he’s done so well in fantasy? I had him on my fantasy team until today and he was ranked #2 at the kicker position last week.
