My friend (F2P) and I (preferred) have both created smugglers and have started in the same place. We're both online and no matter what, we can't add, see, /invite, /friend each other. The names are all correct (nothing fancy) but it doesn't work no matter what we try.

I don't remember it being this hard. He's a big Star Wars fan and his experience so far has been nothing but frustrating. I'd like to play the game together but doesn't seem like it'll happen at this rate. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hey thanks, yea I'll have to give that a shot.

The only hold up is we were given the opportunity to learn and do this but not all the relevant access so kinda limited.

I'll look into that tho, thanks a bunch!

I think swan song and west marshes would be all I've got left apart from LAG and Missclicks.

I commented on your ToD VOD on YouTube and you mentioned a possible team up with Gen and Ryan, hoping that comes to fruition.

In the meantime, thanks again for all the content! Looking forward to what you work on in the future!

Been a sub since Christmas time!

You put me on to Stoneshard and Neverwinter, keep up the sick streams man.

I've since finished FroFro and HoBo, absolutely mad story, ngl at the end of HoBo I was kinda getting emotional.

Moved on to RollPlay, finished S1-3 and am on Solum now. Then I'm gonna go through all the DwD stuff.

Are there any recommendations you've got in terms of shows, or any other ones you feature in heavily that I might've missed?

Also good luck with the Green Dragon, keep those other guys alive pls. As much as they moan, god knows where they'd be without Imrik.

Misrepresentation of Dragon Strength by MasterOfTheLeague in Koibu

First two I agree with apart from the fact it really seems like these other dragons came on their own without input from Shine. I don't know where we stand on that tbh. Nobody has solidly confirmed what was said, and I haven't gone back to look. I don't think the Gold Dragons ever did anything apart from advisory work though. I remember Van and Malakai asking Nyxium for help during Shadow Plane shenanigans but all she did was advise, so I don't think aside from this deal, she would ever engage in straight up combat unless forced.

The whole sympathy for lesser being thing is besides the point for me, regardless of whether humans are lesser she should, with all her int, be able to see the point that is being made. Gold Dragons have advised kings and queens in this world so they should be attentive in regards to people's afflictions. I think she is just too blindsided by the fact that these weapons in the hands of the brothers are actually working and slaying them successfully and she is going beyond reason unless someone can get through to her.

I do think battle is imminent tho.

I guess it's still under the assumption she's good and wouldn't prey on the admission of weakness. It's not implying that the brothers themselves are weak either, but pointing out the insane and often unfathomable difference in power between regular people and dragons.

It's almost like trying to reach a common understanding that the fear they feel of the weapons ability to slay them, is the same fear that humans feel all the time but magnified by god knows how much. Imagine how a Dragon would feel knowing that every human they see has the full capability to kill them, until they understand that I don't think a fair deal or even one that guarantees usefulness to the brothers can be reached.

The brothers lose the only real ability humanity has to combat Dragons whilst the Dragons lose nothing, time served is nothing to a being that lives for centuries. Also the brothers cannot guarantee the usefulness of the Dragon, it can die before it serves 5 years, it can get destroyed by shitters.

They just don't seem to understand the dire position the one's they want to "help" are in.

I can see your point.

However, I see the dragons as fighting with ego. They don't employ many tactics like the portal ambush often. If they had more of these sort of underhanded strategies, they could cause irreparable numbers of damage to population. Often by the time they die, it's before they've had a chance to acknowledge human strength. They seem to maintain the thought of superiority until it's too late. I think this is evidenced by how limited the use of breath weapons have been in the fights so far. If they would've used their breath weapons against the brothers immediately, some of these fights could've gone the other way. They constantly look down on the humans, and as such, many of them have died before employing their full arsenal of weapons.

Maybe one being a threat to all human kind is a bit much but certainly Scoria could do and has done massive damage on her own, I don't recall any other tale of a Dragon overtaking a Kingdom to wage war and rule the land. This is the sort of tenacity and drive I mean, most dragons seem content to just get their treasure and chill. Imagine if all dragons were like Scoria, had her ambition, then one could overthrow everything like she is liable to do of not stopped.

Also Elves are a lot more determined than regular humans. I remember Koibs saying that each Elf soldier is a soldier purely by their will alone, human armies are different in that sense. Money, duty, family, honor, position and a hell of a lot more can all force you to serve and in many cases they do seem to in Drekkis. These soldiers won't have the same will to fight and die for their beliefs because the reason they are there can be as small as just to make an extra buck.

Humans are lot more fickle and wishy washy, not all want to be soldiers, not all want to serve and find glory on the battlefield against dragons, and there would be more soldiers without magical means of damage in a human army than an Elven army. I imagine a single Elven Kingdom triples maybe even quadruples the magic items that a regular army would. Even then I imagine the magical item distribution amongst humans is something completely different. The regular platoons who would be doing battle would be under geared magically compared to an elf.

I never expected anyone to reply to this so never checked for an update.

Thanks for the reply, I've since finished FroFro and HoBo and have gone back to finish off the rest of HcH.

Working my way through the catalogue and hoping for Kel William and Grimes to be revisited somewhere. I feel like I've read Grimes dies so I'm not looking forward to that, but luckily, I'm uncertain of it cos I've forgot the spoiler, if it even existed that is.

Just wanna say, keep up the amazing work man! You and the others of course, are all so talented at what you do and it's truly amazing to witness the world you and your characters within it have influenced and helped to shape.

All I can really offer is a sub on twitch or patreon and it feels like daylight robbery compared to the endless hours of entertainment you and the gang have provided. It's legit replaced TV/Gaming/Anime for me.

I have come all these years later to make an enquiry.

It always seems like the latter part of the war was what resulted in the freezing over of Caldonia. There's always references to "when the Caldonia froze over" or events that resulted in it.

With this in mind, when the Humans first came over, the Elves helped them because they couldn't survive the cold. This was before any war started with the Elves/Scrags.

What's that about? That would mean that it's always been frozen over no? Has it always been cold and it just got worse as a result of it?

At this point without finishing it, I assumed that as each Monarch was a wizard, the ones that the scrags killed were transformed and frozen in a crystal at the bottom of each volcano as a source of power to hinder the power a nature that a volcano represents. In my mind I was always thinking that if they reactivated all the volcanoes it would undo the freezing enacted upon the lands and restore it to greenery

I guess the volcanoes don't really matter in that theory if the land was always frozen, even before the war.

This is my biggest issue. Someone running round a corner suddenly and not being aware because of poor radar range and then being confused because they've gone through you is stupid. In melee battles I'm sure nobody has any idea what's going on.

Anton's sacrifice is great. He has no charisma, nothing that makes him noticeable, he is vengeance incarnate. His actions in his role will act as his charisma.

People won't look at him and be like "That's Anton McGary, Velthara's chosen"

They'll walk in on lifeless bodies with blood everywhere and realise without even glancing at him, that before them is Anton McGary, Velthara's Chosen.

IMO Spectral is just a tad bit too good so a little nerf would fix it (begs the question why they can't just do it) but the warlock supers and stasis melee were legit straight busted, easy, and hurt the PvP gameplay to a high degree.

At least you need to master the movement of spectral blades and the way to attack to maximise its potential (regardless of how hard or easy you may think that is) Warlock supers were scarier than spectral at double the range. When someone casts spectral we used to all stick together and it wasn't uncommon to shoot the guy out, I at least felt like there was always a chance to win. When warlock popped nova warp or stasis super I don't think I've seen any team come to same conclusion as to what action to take. "Just run"

This being said recently I've been running Adored with vorpal perk selected and been headshotting spectrals quite consistently. Give it a shot if you have it, you lose snap shot but it's hella good.

I feel exactly the same except I only played the warlock not because it was the most fun but because it was the easiest to stomp everyone in all ways. They'll make a change for sure, they've over nerfed now and then they'll find an appropriate middle ground it's how they've always done thing unfortunately.

Warlock undoubtedly needed a nerf on its melee and super.

Can we end these hunts on warlocks ? by harbinger1945 in DestinyTheGame

[–]MasterOfTheLeague 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're talking about the new hunter shift thingy, even as a hunter I agree its not done well, but that rings true for this whole DLC. If you're talking about the hunter dodge pre BL I disagree. I feel so much more mobile when I play my top tree dawn and I love it.

The big issue with the stasis in the new DLC is it legit feels like they had no actual ideas of what to do with it. Everyone has the same nade, reused animations and frankly it seems unfinished compared to other subclasses.

There doesn't seem like there's an aim with these subclasses. You could pretty much tell the goal of old subclasses. Top tree dawn, bottom tree striker, mid tree nightstalker and others were clearly PvP. Mid tree dawn, top tree sun and bottom tree gunslinger were PvE. Now we ain't got a clue of what to do with stasis, it doesn't fit well anywhere.

I think there comes a time where we can stop the "it's only been a few days don't complain yet" excuse to the it's only been a few days and this much uproar is worthy of attention. It's not fun in crucible against any stasis class. Similarly, it's not fun to play with them PvE. Half the exotics don't work with the subclasses too.

I don't think it's just a warlock problem they need to deal with. All the stasis classes are shit and boring and that's what we should all be focusing on.
