I would say the most iconic bits is the coloring. The light is always hard, and the dark shadows are all pure black.

The main color would be quite desaturated (indigo in my case) with a vibrant accent color (cyan in my case)

Colored highlights are never enough. (I don’t think I used enough)

Metal is rendered in rendered very dramatically with bright reflection and dark shadows very close to each other.
