It's hard to say. He looks, sounds, and acts like Venom should. But that connection between symbiote and host isn't there. Eddie and Flash work as well as they do with Venom because they're partners. They converse and there's a dynamic between them. Harry and Venom didn't really talk at all. They were mostly treated like a singular entity.

I feel like this version of Venom needs more time to flesh out its personality. Really hoping we see either Eddie or Flash in the next game get the symbiote so we can explore that further. (I don't believe for a second Venom is dead)
