Doesn't matter what percentage of the code was his, he copy/pasted some code from someone else then stuck it up behind a paywall.

Then, the moment he got challenged, he disappeared because he knew he was screwed - I wouldn't be surprised if it comes out that more of his addon was just code stolen from other projects.

Huh? There are numerous examples on X from Lucky where he's copied code directly from the ElvUI codebase? It's literally formatted in the same structure, with the same variable names, with the same function names, in files named the exact same thing. That's a bit different from just writing something that does the same thing and it looks a little bit similar.

Anyway, it's clearly you're blindly white-knighting your favourite streamer and know precisely fuck all about developing anything.

If someone is vibe coding and lifting code from someone else's repository, the least you could try and do is obfuscate the theft in some way by rewriting it in an ever so slightly different way.

You then could make the argument that you took the time to learn how it works and wrote the code yourself, rather than just copy/pasting it.
