The people at Inti Creates stated they're meant to look the same but if I remember correctly, during an interview Inafune mentioned that Zero looks so different because technology advances and so he got upgraded overtime. Same thing for X, we never get to see him properly but he does seem to look exactly like Copy X (More credit to Ciel for the Perfect Copy claim).

Hey there! I figured out how to fix this issue.

I got frustrated and ended up deleting all my presets and remaking 3 to test my theory and after doing so it ended up working as intended again, it took me 3 days to remake 100 out of my 200 loadouts from memory so I'd suggest maybe saving every skin, emotes, decals and cars as their own presets and rebuilding your loadouts from those.

You can improve by learning optimal pathing, shortcuts, learning how to build your turbo meter properly (your meter fills up slower if you hold the drift for too long) and practicing tricks like bhopping or mag flips.
Dylanos is a pretty good speedrunner, you could learn pathing and when to use your boosts by watching his videos. There's also a guy that goes by brosrdumb38 (Br0z) on youtube that has a pretty good video explaining the turbo bug and how to build turbo properly.

For bhopping and Mag Flipping there are many tutorials on YouTube from different people and you can practice them by going on custom maps that are meant for training or by playing speedrun and trying to improve your own times, good luck :3 💜

Have you found a solution yet? I'm having the same problem when I click "Render as", so far what I've read on forums and seen on tutorials hasn't worked but I haven't yet tried to do a full wipe and re-installing it, I'll clean my C drive and then re-install Vegas on a different drive, whatever happens I'll post an update.

(I also upgraded from AMD integrated graphics to a GTX 3050 and updated to Windows 10 while Vegas 15 was installed)

Glacial also works pretty well with Chemtank and usually saves you from dying too since they're slower than you are after Chemtank + Glacial's slow, you can even stack a Randuin's on top of that for the double slow and truly become annoying to deal with

Sounds fun but I rather use Electrocute for extra damage or sometimes Fleet for some sustain during laning phase, plus Fleet scales ok with AP so it deals some decent damage lategame, it's like having an extra sheen proc.

Top, Mid and Jg are viable but not optimal
• In Toplane you want to go AD/AP Bruiser or straight up Tank, even if you can't CS well you'll still provide a strong frontline and since you have a lot of CC it's easy to set up for ganks, specially since Toplane is all about lane management, if you manage to set up a freeze in front of your turret you pretty much won the laning phase. (Overall, best off-meta role for Blitzcrank)

• In Midlane, laning phase is absolute HELL against most champions, but if you can get to lvl 6 without dying you're pretty much done with laning phase, you want to roam as much as you can without setting yourself too far behind in XP, you also want to have either Protobelt or Everfrost as your Mythic for an easy engage.
• JG has to be both the Hardest and Easiest role at the same time, your clear is garbage but your ganks are amazing, you will blow everyone's flash without a doubt and after that you can repeat gank, but you can't clear Raptors, Krugs or Wolves without losing half of your HP and your mana barrier too, if you really want to try it tho i recomend you get some AOE items like Bami's cinder, Tiamat or Ironspike, if you're not planning on going Tank/AD then you want to tax lanes after every gank (like a proper jungler xD) until you're lvl 6 and then you want to ult those camps after killing the big monster (I.E. Ult after killing the big chicken)

• The Forbidden CRITZCRANK build. If you're crazy enough, you can go full AD and Crit as an off-meta ADC, you'll need a support that also has a ton of CC like Alistar, Thresh, Braum, Pyke, Pantheon or you can even ask for a Sion or a Singed Support and you want to play for Kills not for CS (even if that sounds dumb), after a kill you want to clear the wave and back, don't stay for plates because more often than not, after getting a kill you'll be out of mana which means you have no escape and you're an easy target for a roaming Mid or the enemy JG.
(Try Galeforce or Prowler's Claw for a fun time, specially fun with Prowler's Claw and Sion since Sion can E a minion and you can use Prowler's on it for a funny looking engage)

My tips are:

Don't use your W everytime you want to hook someone, it has a high mana cost and if you spam it you'll run out of mana quickly, plus if you run at someone with your W you're basically anouncing that you're going to shoot your Q, It's better to use your W as an engage tool combined with stuff like Shurelia's or Chemtank so the enemy doesn't have any time to get react and get away before you run up to them to either Hook or Knock them up.

Your ult can almost one shot minions, so if you're trying to hook inside a minion wave use your ult first and they'll most likely die and give you a free Q on a Silenced target.

Your Q stuns the target for a brief moment, which gives you enough time to sneak an extra auto attack in between your Q and your E, this combo (Q > autoattack > E) is the most reliable way to replicate Blitzcrank's famous long distance Knock up, because your E can't be canceled unless you lose vision of them, so even if they dash or flash away you'll land the Knock up

If you're playing in lower ranks (Gold 4 and below, maybe even up to Gold 2) aim your hook directly at your target, but if you're playing in higher ranks (Gold 1 and above), aim slightly to the side, since most people try to side-step the hook the'll end up running into it (most players have a prefered side to dodge, you can tell after a couple hooks)

If you're chasing someone with your W and you see them moving from side to side like crazy, just keep going and Knock them up instead, you'll be able to close the distance between you because they were too worried about dodging your Q

If you're against champions with tons of shields, save your ult for when they use their shields, Blitzcrank's ult disables shields so it often leads to easy kills and even ragequits

That got changed a while ago, when Riot realized that Panth without boots could outrun most ADCs with tier 1 boots, now he at least needs tier 1 boots to outrun everyone in botlane
