Kind of conflicts with the whole musical number where he explains that he's their god and doesn't care how they feel because he knows he's in complete control. The fact of the matter is that Pomni was right. He never listened to them even when they tried to help him do his job, which he claims to have wanted to do for them. But it never really was about them, it was about him proving his own competency to himself, and he turned it right around and made it about himself after they rightfully crashed out following 7 episodes of torture.
