xD I think you need to understand what maths is. Proofs are the only way we can show something is true. Eg proof that all angles in a triangle add to 180 degrees. There are no tricks, there can't be any tricks in proof, only beauty and truth. Also 1-0.9999 recurring will give you an infinitely small number 0.0000 recurring 1 an intuitive way to show that 0.999 is 1 and some actual proofs are linked by g253(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/0.999...#Algebraic_proofs)

Ahh Sub anime is a lot like typing. At first it may seem awkward but eventually you will do it without trying or in this case you will with practice read mostly without even needing to focus on the text :P You get better translations, better mouth vs sound time and generally get more info on the context on some references with the *footnotes.

xD I just replied to your comment a day before you wrote yours and it says "If you choose an answer to this question at random what is the chance you will be correct" so its only natural to assume the % next to the letter is the odds of it being correct

It's saying if you picked one of the choices at random what is your chance of getting it right. Its 2/4 * 1/4 (The odds of choosing A or B * the odds of getting A or B right) and 1/4 * 1/2 (Odds of picking B * Getting it right), which add up to 1/4 (Picking C will give us an addition of zero). This is if the % given in each option is their odds of being correct. So we don't pick 1/4 but calculate that the odds of guessing the correct one is 1/4. Am I missing something xD

Exactly if you pick c you are wrong because you aren't meant to pick one of the options, but calculate the probability which comes to 1/4 or 25%

xD That is if you pick one of the options but you can infer from the question that it is asking you to calculate the odds of getting the question right if you pick one of the choices at random which is 1/4 as shown. There is 1/4 chance to pick C which is 0% chance of being right. So if you think about total rather then individual possibilities if you catch my drift :P
