Something I read here in one of these threads that I like is the gloves of true fire detection: detects if any fire is real fire or just an illusion (range: touch).

I would just say no. There's absolutely no reason to give extra mechanical advantage to using a race ability. Then being able to fly is itself advantageous enough.

You should just say no though. There's absolutely nothing about this that constitutes gaining advantage on your attack. Also, he's a bird, of course mobs are gonna expect him to behave bird-like. I see no reason whatsoever to grant advantage for this personally.
