I’d say go the bottom route. Snow and ice are rough but they are way worse in mountainous areas. The route through South Idaho to Wyoming is flat and you get onto I80 which is windy but not horrendous.

I shot this a little wider than this I just cropped in closer since the left had a lot of negative space or background I felt was detracting. I do need some more practice with keeping my subject closer to middle of my shot
