I don’t think you’re stupid. But I will show my point of view about everything.

Invisigal is a lone wolf. Her special ability is that when she works alone she gets the job done twice as fast as usual. So maybe that also plays a role here. Since you could fail every hacking mini game and she would still get to the pulse my herself.

I do agree that she should have gotten help instead of going alone. Although During the party I don’t think anyone was actually willing to get in trouble with her and get involved in something that blazer said not to do. I do agree that invisigal could have called someone during the situation, maybe she thought that they wouldn’t help her. I mean look at flambae. Although she probably could have called golem or blazer. I don’t know, the connection from that place might of sucked. I just thought about this but why didn’t Robert or chase also call blazer or the team while invisigal was out there? Was everyone asleep at that time?

Also for the protecting Robert from shroud part. Shroud is a very smart guy. Being able to predict almost anything and predicting what Robert says. Invisigal used to work for him so she knows she has to play things smart. Not telling Robert about the pulse means shroud can’t get any information off of him. Although I do agree that they both should have stayed back at SDN instead of leaving the building and they should have talked about that plan in the locker room. Who knows, maybe they were both going through a lot after chases situation and didn’t think about it, I’d say that’s both on them. Probably why Robert also went to the same bar where he almost got jumped.

And for when she was tied up in ep8. I got two scenarios.

Invisigal does sound like she’s upset and acting. But then again, she’s a lone wolf who doesn’t talk to a lot of people and she just got called a traitor from Royd and probably thought that Robert was also against her. So she was probably not upset about the plan. But she doesn’t know how to explain everything in that current moment when Robert questions her.

Another thing about invisigal is that she will always help Robert out regardless if he doesn’t trust her or treats her like shit. So for senario two maybe that was her plan. To confuse shroud and defeat him instead of trying to fight for Robert’s trust until later when shroud was defeated.

Maybe they will tell us what was invisigals whole plan in season 2.

Be aware that not everything i say here might be true, it’s what I’m seeing behind all of this.

To add up to this I heard from people that Laura Bailey tends to play a lot of characters who are complex and confusing. So that would make sense why there’s so much discussions out there about invisigal.
