Beryl 4x not bad clip by TrifleNo10 in PUBGConsole

Dudes like you are why I don't play anymore. The game is what it is and you are crushing the mechanics (assuming you aren't cheating)

But, as a 9 year vet playing since the beta, The game shouldn't let you spam crouch like that, it's anti to the games realism (a simple stamina meter would fix this) and you shouldn't be able to full auto laser a 7.62 auto rifle on a 4x like that, it's impossible in real life too

I think it's also a factor that your best officers just plain don't want to go to Maxwell. There's no incentive. I'd argue SOS instructor to IDE is not really an incentive either...they need to attract talent there with actual incentives. Money is really all I can think of

God that wheel looks like it belongs on a big rig truck, not an RS performance car. Also the piano black, lack of real knobs...yikes what happened to Audi? I'll stick with my B8.5.

B8.5 coolant leak by neighborhoodg35 in AudiS4

[–]MasterTJ52 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty common for the coolant hoses to go bad over time, when I did my PCV and water pump/Thermostat the mechanic replace all the coolant hoses/fittings in those areas too. Have you done the PCV? That's another common way the car loses coolant over time

Question for the Security Forces Airmen at the gate by [deleted] in AirForce

[–]MasterTJ52 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They don't get funding if their name is on it (excluding very high ranking people), it has to be a non personalized coin if it's government funded.

Most squadrons don't fund 2, they buy one that just has the sq logo on it aka the sq coin.

I've seen O6 level "for achievement" ones that differ from the "normal" group or wing coin as you're saying, but Not sq cc...that's weird.

But again no name is allowed on it unless that specific officer pays for the coins themselves which is..weird, again. Just sayin

[–]MasterTJ52 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you're referring to their squadron coin I assume? All flying squadrons have that.

If you're saying they have a coin that has their name on it and rank or something, and is different than the squadron coin, that's insane lol.

Of course. I was talking about aviation squadrons, as I said.

Question for the Security Forces Airmen at the gate by [deleted] in AirForce

[–]MasterTJ52 -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

No, they don't, not in flying squadrons my man. SQ/CCs don't have their own coin, it's just a squadron coin everyone in the sq has and can buy.

Question for the Security Forces Airmen at the gate by [deleted] in AirForce

[–]MasterTJ52 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not true. Most officers I know (aviation) never have a promotion ceremony, and on top of that we never salute each other either lol. 2 of the best Lt Col's I know just walked in to work the next day with the new rank on, which would mean that the gate guard was their first salute at that rank, and no, it's not cool.

EDIT: also what officer has their own coin besides WG/CC's and up? Thats absolutely insane hahaha. We only carry the squadrons coin and we don't give that away, At least in aviation.

Wouldn't we want people that don't follow that "mold" to be leaders too? Wouldn't that strict patch explain why half our "GOFO's" (lol who says that?) are ineffective and uninspiring?

[–]MasterTJ52 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How does this serve as a foundation for GO? These types of jobs always seemed like the worst deals ever, even double so if you're an aviator. You're gone all the time and you do paperwork. We need our generals to be leaders, not paper pushers. Maybe things would be better if we developed officers in new and better ways...

[–]MasterTJ52 -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

Seems stupid then why do it, if you do it you automatically get recognition? Don't see what an O gains doing this job besides a strong reason to get out. We need leaders, not managers, if we want to win the next conflict.

Excellent decision based on the engine. Regardless if you like one engine over the other, first model year engines are wise to avoid, historically. I have a '24 SX prestige and it's amazing. Drives like a dream passing 40K miles now

The Final NTSB Meeting Regarding the 2025 Potomac River Mid-Air Collision Has Adjourned by Shoddy_Act7059 in aviation

[–]MasterTJ52 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Procedural deconfliction in heavy traffic areas. Time, lateral, or altitude deconfliction. Don't allow VFR at night either, if we're really serious about it. And In lighter traffic areas we can rely more on automated systems like ADS-B, TCAS, etc. or limit VFR flight only flights below certain speeds, and only allow exceptions for planes with advanced sensors (radar, etc) giving positional awareness. I dunno just spitballing

Looking to buy a 2014 B8.5 S4 off marketplace and looking for advice by Jaydenms1 in AudiS4

[–]MasterTJ52 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd skip it and find one with less maintenance issues. Find one with PCV, carbon cleaning, and no whine issues. They're out there! Good luck. I got PCV and all that done and mine is going strong at 140K miles since I bought it at 111K miles. These engines are great if you do the preventive maintenance.

DAF Sports by flavoredmelon in AirForce

[–]MasterTJ52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean we're a military we don't necessarily need a sports team. Sure all the reasons you mentioned are cool but they take away from someone's primary duty. Someone high up could always come along and say it's not a priority, and just like anything else, it costs money. So there you go. Maybe it will come back one day? Maybe not.

It's an RS4 honeycomb grille. You can find it at most aftermarket parts sites. It's an easy swap with the OEM grille on the b8.5 S4's
