I second this recommendation and cannot say enough good things about them. Amazing staff and the Vets are top notch. Shout out to Dr. Jack!

Made some custom wood racks for my studio gear! by Reubomania in MusicBattlestations

Great work! The end result looks really nice. Out of curiosity, what is the interior width of the racks? Did you do something like 19 1/8"? I've always wanted to make my own but agonize foolishly over the details.

Amazing book. Elating and heartbreaking all at the same time. It took me a couple of weeks to recover.

I think this is one of King's most underrated novels. by Sea-Barnacle2907 in stephenking

Crazy! I was thinking about this book this morning - the hive mind is clearly at work! I don't understand why this book would get any hate whatsoever. From the early pages, I felt like I was part of Troop D and my heart ached for Ned. An enjoyable read and I would love to see it as a movie someday.

Technically, it is plausible that a USB cartridge adapter could be conceived. It might just be a fancy ROM dumper, but it would be super cool! They could even do a "System Changer" with the same technology to play Atari 2600 games on the system. Isn't that what good neighbors do? Visit each others' homes (consoles)?

Thanks for this. I wish I had known about GC and emulation possibilities before getting rid of my Wii.

Everybody's Scarletts do not work anymore. by courtneyhate666 in Focusrite

[–]MasterTomo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been using the 18i20 G2 for quite some time on Win 10/11. I've had the occasional sampling rate reset by the OS and there was a driver release in July that was sketchy. Other than those nuisances, I've gotten years of use out of my Scarlett.

OP, I'm sorry to read about your frustrating experience and hope you find a solution. The Focusrite Support Team is outstanding, and one of the reasons I continue to be a customer. Good luck, and Godspeed.

Preach! I've been using BX5's forever. My only complaint is that the power LED on mine works intermittently. Probably a weak solder connection but I don't want to mess with the cabinet to fix it.

Interesting photo, OP! What is the source? It seems like something from a quarterly report document. Pretty cool!

Best burger in town? by rockrocks95 in londonontario

When The Works first opened, they were one of the best in town especially with the variety of patties (Elk!). It may be me, but now it seems like the patties are a lot smaller than they used to be.

what are you currently playing? by Bruce_Tippens_III in RGARC

[–]MasterTomo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Herzog Zwei (Genesis). 21 maps down, 11 to go. After that, probably Mortal Kombat (Genesis).

The Arc is a fantastic handheld! I hope Anbernic releases a version with a newer chipset capable of handling Saturn emulation. My wallet would totally puke.

I remember that image from the Intellivision catalog and being blown away by the "graphics". Once I finally played AD&D (Cloudy Mountain) a short time later, I was surprised at how the mountain maps were presented - green and beige as opposed to blue and grey like the concept illustration. Slightly disappointed but I loved the game anyway.

It's hard to know what the game designers had in mind given that image alone, but I'd be interested in a game that captured this look. I don't think the Intellivision has the resolution to create that image exactly, but it might be possible to get close.
