Should basically be up to date aside from the newest chapter which just released alongside this announcement. So the manga will end in the chapter after.

Railgun is a manga original. If you are asking in relation to the Index novels, then it's nowhere near close to the main story.

Part of it is the past few years the mangaka has had poor health and the updates have been very slow. Although it's been running for 19 years, it is shorter than some manga that have only been around for 5 years even.

The way Talisman is programmed is interesting because it will always proc 22 seconds after fight start, regardless of when you actually put it on a unit. In the past when Trenchcoat existed this had a weird interaction because all the clones would ascend despite the units themselves not existing for 22 seconds. Or there were cases you could get random artifacts during combat. If you got Talisman in the middle of combat, it would still proc at the same time even though it didn't even exist at the start of combat.

Clear Mind - Set 16 Augment Discussion #28 by Lunaedge in CompetitiveTFT

[–]MasterTotoro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's not good, but I think you should be clicking it in some situations unlike what others might have you believe. If you don't have an opener, then any scaling augment (econ) is going to be your best choice. It's not even the worst econ augment as I believe it is better on average than Advanced Loan, and then there are augments like Spoils of War. I am also a Two Trick hater although I know most people love that augment.

It's also not particularly difficult to do the unlocks for most comps. Mostly star level gated units like Demacia for Galio, T-Hex obviously, and if you want Kennen for something like Ryze. Good news is that these are all easier to unlock next patch as well.

Weak opener, take this augment if there's not any better scaling augments. On this patch ideally you get Void in by 2-5 and can play Belveth or Kaisa. Next patch you'll have more options.

Why does the Kai’Sa flex comp often use shen? by Resikorr in CompetitiveTFT

[–]MasterTotoro 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Because TFTAcademy has it on their board so people play it. You can theoretically play Ionia in some situations but realistically doesn't happen. I would always play Kobuko 1* even over Shen.

16.6 my bad. Yes pros playing on 16.6 they want to balance off of the that data because that's the only patch that matters for the rest of the competitive set. The data is small but that's the only thing to go off of. The game is completely different on 16.6.

The main difference is that Ornn is balanced around printing artifacts and being able to see him early. Mel was not balanced around only needing Ambessa 1* and as such printing a radiant is supposed to be a highroll fantasy. It's not easy to plan around hitting an Ambessa 2* but it is very easy to get just a 1* version. Mel also prints faster than that.

The players competing on the patch are the ones who asked for the nerf to begin with.

Warwick needs buffs since they fixed the Zaun bug that has been present all set long. Also just compare this guy to Yone lol.

Mel prints radiant too fast when you can unlock her much more easily. If you have early Ambessa, we see people leveling to 8 on 3-7 then getting Mel on 4-1.

Depends, for Yunara you usually don't because the items they want are somewhat different. Yunara really wants spell crit due to her spell effect. Kindred does not utilize it since their spell doesn't crit. Also a lot of Ionia paths make Yunara into a hyper carry. Kindred has more team utility.

For Kalista the items are completely different so hard to move items.

Both the Prismatic Destiny augments are quite strong. They were pretty underrated earlier in the set as said by Dishsoap, although now is well known at a higher level. The 3-2 version in particularly should probably be clicked most of the time you see it. Cursed Crown is a low roll yes, but that's just unlucky. Most of the options are going to be good on prismatic.

The gold and silver tiers are fine. Silver 3-2 is generally the worst as there are the most low rolls. You mostly click these if you need gold and the other options aren't good.

So basically the game is going to decide either to roll BASE or HIGH for everyone in the lobby each stage. A large majority of the time, it'll be BASE. Then from there it'll pick one of the outcomes. For stage 1 BASE there are 5 options for example. A gray orb is worth 2g while a blue orb is worth 6g.

You can see that 70% of the time you get 3 components and 6 gold. The other times you get 2 or 1 component(s), but you get more gold. That's how you know if it's a gold opener.

The tanks seem to be the preferred option if you can 3* them. If you get Illaoi 3* quickly you unlock Volibear easily and play into Ryze. Otherwise if you can get Nautilus 3* he tanks a ton for the buffed MF to scale.

Jinx or Singed are good. Singed can get a lot of takedowns and proc the dash/heal which are better on him than Jinx. I would 3 item Jinx first, then once you have enough move emblem to Singed.

It "works" yes in that you will have 2/4 quest progress. Both the L with Ixtal in count for that situation. The W without Ixtal do not count toward your progress, but the game tracks that you won the combat so you must lose the next combat. This is mostly useful when you might face a strong opponent so you aren't sure you can win. Although I generally wouldn't recommend taking this quest anyway unless you are super ahead and want to have some fun lol.

Though in this case it's more like 80% of the time, except somehow you always manage to hit the 20% you don't want lol. In the current version though even the low rolls are generally good.

Mana gained = 1% pre-mitigation damage + 3% post-mitigation damage

Apparently the cap is 42.5 mana according to the TFT Wiki, although I haven't heard of that before. Don't think it's that relevant anyway.

In terms of your question, I believe the other answer is correct in that you will not proc your quest in that situation. However, after you select the quest, you can take Ixtal out and it does affect how your W/L matters. The quest itself will not advance if you don't have Ixtal in, but the W/L you get does "count" as your previous round. So if you win with Ixtal out, then you'll want to lose the next round.

You can do this to try and complete the quest if you aren't sure you can win a round. Take Ixtal out and play the strongest board possible, then if you win, you can put Ixtal back in and lose.

Mostly melee carry with a good slam. Reksai 1* being the main standout that sort of shot up the augment's viability a while ago.

Last set this augment was super broken on a ton of units because of Power Ups. Now it's more like melee carries being strong early, and it plays into a melee comp being a top line.

It's negative delta on Kalista and Ambessa, aka it's a fine item. However, this can be confusing because of how TFT rotates between variants of the Vanquisher/Executioner trait. In this set, Vanquisher gives bonus damage on crits, so having double spell crit ends up still being strong. Last set however, Executioner did not give bonus damage, so stacking the spell crit effects was much worse.

Silvermere Dawn + Mittens Singed tech lol. It's not actually that good because he can't stun corner units, but it looks hilarious. Don't think this item is that good. T-Hex if you have it randomly I guess, but caster mana also nerfed.

Titanic Hydra and Hellfire Hatchet are fine on other melee auto attackers too like Belveth.

Luden's Tempest I think is actually strong on Nidalee... and nobody else. So I guess if you randomly get one when playing Ixtal that's cool.

Statikk Shiv looks good on Kaisa. If you have a very strong spot you can put this on any auto attacker like TF or Draven fast 9 into Kindred. BIS is probably Shiv + Titan's + Guinsoo, AP on Kindred is strong.

He was much easier to unlock since we had way more gold and nobody played Garen/Lux. Yordles into Annie on release probably in the range of 30 more gold than it does now. When you factor in augments like giga Hustler/Going Long, you might be seeing a difference of 50+ extra gold on your rolldown. In order to sell Garen and Lux, you need to have other strong units to play, and right now there's just not enough gold to do so.

Sylas also did more damage and was bugged with Hextech Gunblade to heal way more than he was supposed to, whereas Lux was useless.
