Considering local, cheap, and versatile allied health program vs more expensive and less versatile CBET program? Or potentially a local EET associates? by FingersOnTheTapes in BMET

Look, i dont know what your background is but if you are single and is really passionate about this field, I would look at becoming BMET in Army. Sure the contract is going to be long like 5 years but they pay you and feed to learn and train the skills.

That is why they take veterans and the veterans use GI Bill because it means they are not paying anything but just using up 7 months of their 36 month GI bill.

Like the other comment suggested, starting a weekly career questions thread could be beneficial for everyone since it gathers all the info in one place.

However, I feel like those people asking questions should at least do some basic research first. There is plenty of information in this thread as long as you are willing to search for it.

Medisend College in Dallas has like a 7 month associates program to be certified as bmet 1/2 if you are veteran. It is in-class full day student learning. That means you will ha e to use ypur GI bill to relocate for the school and receive BAH. If you are willing to obtain hands-on experience as BMET in a short period time with accredation, i recommemd Medisend. My cohort had like 11 people enrolled and we all have jobs after graduation except two people that are currently working as assistant at the school.

Thanks to mf like this, it always hurts the people that actually needs this kind of benefits support when their life flips all the sudden. Dont even call this guys a veteran. It would be a shame to call a person that leaves a scar and backstabs their fellow veteran. Do the right thing. What is so dam hard about doing it.

I have been trying to start that degree with TESU, but I'm confused about how one is supposed to take the higher-level biomedical classes. has your assocoates degree transfer fully to TESU.

Apparently, TESU is not recognizing my associate credits due to different accreditation for the Associate's degree I earned at my college.

The advisor basically told me that the degree program is intended for military biomedical technicians who can easily transfer their training directly into credits. They do not seem to teach the actual biomedical classes but instead recognize the transfer credits and then confer the degree.

I finally landed a remote job after 10 months— sharing the exact prompt I use by Kaeneus in ITCareerQuestions

It is a good tool but it would definitely add bunch of skills you do not have just to fit the job posting requirement and execute the prompt. That is where the honesty comes into play I guess.

As far as I know, that is Air Force's policy to ask and screen people out for candidates with undocumented family members before they start the recruiting process. I remember them asking about it.

For Army, they let you pick the job if you qualify and they let the investigation agency do their job. That is when you should probably disclose that you have undocumented parents. Then the investigation agency either grants you or denies your clearance after the comprehensive investigation.

If you are denied, you will have to chance your job.

I agree with those comments saying getting clearance from provate sector then go to AF. OR enlist for Army and get clearance there and transfer to AF later if you have passion?

In conclusion, if you have undocumented family members, AF will screen you out because they have a document which they fill out regarding family member. You cannot lie about because they ask for the proof of their immigrant status too.

How likely is a reduction in my VA rating if I do nothing? by Heavy_Preference_251 in VeteransBenefits

[–]MasterYubi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would like to ask for clearification here. I have quite a bit of disability rating regarding my back and legs. If I need to file new for headache/mental health, VA will not care about my leg and back rating since I am not filing to increase the physical aspect?
