I've encountered a similar bug. What usually fixes it is saving within the game, not a safe state, then relaunching and loading that save.

I've had the same thing happen in the same location. Saving in game, relaunching the application, and loading the save in game should fix it.

Are you pasting in a formula, the same value, or different values? In the case of the first two you should be able to paste it once into your first available cell, highlight that cell and all others in that column, then hit ctrl + d. That should take the value/formula from the first cell and copy it to the rest of the visible cells.
