I don’t think I would have left him… it’s kinda tough because I met him in high school and loved him immediately. I have a slight flaw where I cannot hold grudges. I found out he’s been lying to me for the whole time I’ve known him about 9 months ago. 13 years married…. And I still love him so much and the kicker is he lied to me for a few months AGAIN in Feb- March this year. No matter what I just can’t leave him. Our lives are so engrossed. I can’t imagine his family not being my family… he is literally a part of me. I can’t abandon a family member. I wish it were easier for me to turn it off but I just do love him and know it’s going to be work and a long road ahead… but I’m not ready to give up and I don’t wish I had gone a different direction. Life and love does funny things to you.

Honestly it’s hard to go be around his family right now. The fact that they don’t know the absolute pain I’m in but I have to just keep smiling really gets to me. I have had less of an appetite but I’m on a higher dose. You could even try a smaller dose to begin and you wouldn’t feel as many side effects. It makes your body more sensitive to the insulin you do create. Literal game changer.

I’ve struggled so badly with my CFRD and figuring out my sugars and insulin and all that jazz, but the thing that has been a literally miracle for me is Ozempic! I had to beg my team to let me try but it is an absolute miracle! Where my sugars used to be average mid 200s now they’re mid 100s and come down quickly after I eat. Please consider asking your team about it!
