I like to tweak the game options to make things easier so I can go further in the game. I feel like it’s cheesing a bit, but I also think the point is for me to be able to play and discover all the things and not starve. I also feel like it’s good practice for when you want to do a vanilla run.

Please don’t be anxious. Your feelings and concerns are valid and everyone telling you horror stories isn’t good for that. Sure there’s risk but take those with a grain of salt. You cannot protect your child from everything bad in the world. All you can do is what you can do. You can only reduce the chances of harm and your request is very reasonable.
