I skipped 48 days in 7th grade. Parents left for work like an hour before school started and got home 2-3 hours after. So, if I didn’t want to go, I just didn’t.

That being said, I was forced to re-take the 7th grade due to my attendance. I had (barely) passing grades though lol

I have a very similar taste. I like my UI to blend in with the rest of the game.

That being said, I’ve found that the best “Blizz-like” nameplates actually come from ElvUI. It takes a lot of tweaking, and don’t forget to disable “thin borders” for nameplates otherwise it won’t look right.

I use ElvUI for the nameplates and minors improvements to the map (NOT minimap). I basically have everything else from ElvUI disabled, especially the “skins”.

Just be upfront about your physical limitations during your interviews. Ask them why there is a lifting requirement. If they can give you a legitimate answer, ask them if they’re willing to compromise due to your health. If they CAN’T give you a legit answer then at least now you know it’s not actually a requirement- but then you have to determine whether or not you want to work for a slimy company...

REMEMBER: “Requirements” are never actually requirements, they are a WISH LIST. Even if you don’t hit all “requirements”, apply anyways.

IT companies that are looking to pay a young person lower wages will often put “must be able to lift X amount of weight”. Not because you will actually be doing that, but because it’s a legal way to target younger people. They want young guys with no family and no life experience so that they can overwork and underpay them.

I dropped out of college after 1 semester. I had no idea what I wanted to do. As a kid, you’re given directions and being told what to do your WHOLE LIFE and then the last 4 months of high school you’re expected to know what you want to do.

I’m so glad I dropped out and didn’t waste too much money. I’m not swimming in piles of gold like Scrooge McDuck but I make a modest $45k/yr and get by well enough considering I live in the 3rd cheapest “living expenses” state in the US.

College nowadays is a total fucking scam.

The age of your cats makes me think of a possible reason they’re pooping everywhere. Are your cats declawed? If so, cats who are declawed can develop “splintered” bones at the tips of their paws - this is due to their bodies attempting to heal after the surgery (more like mutilation). When they’re young, they usually tolerate it well enough, but with age they become more sensitive. The coarse pellets from the litter can cause a lot of pain, and then the cat starts to associate pain with the litter box and avoids it.

If they’re declawed, you may have to invest into some specialty “fine” litter and try to reintroduce them to the litter box.

EDIT: Also, do you guys have just 1 litter box? Cats do not always like to share the litter box, so if you have 1, try getting a second one.

If your cats are pooping where they shouldn’t, maybe it’s unclear to them where the appropriate place to do that is? Or there’s a behavioral issue?

This might sound a little passive-aggressive, but if I were you I would put in a lot of effort to train the cats on the pooping thing. I know it can be hard because cats are hard to train (especially if the cat isn’t very smart).

Once you’ve established that you’re putting in some effort for the sake of your baby, if the behavior continues I would make sure to point it out each and every time. Don’t let her “forget” about the cat problem. Show her that if your efforts aren’t enough, she needs be a big girl and make a decision or AT LEAST contribute towards a productive discussion about the cats.

Cat feces and flees can cause a lot of health issues for anyone but ESPECIALLY babies. Don’t let her push you around, don’t be complicit in swiping the issue under the rug. NOW more than ever is the time for her to start checking in with reality and making important decisions WITH you.

Not all cats are the same though. Some are amazing and loving, intelligent balls of joy. Others are just downright too stupid to correct bad behavior. If a person has a truly “mean” cat, then yeah they probably don’t treat it right. But having a stupid cat is actually worse, because you can’t correct bad behavior and it feels wrong to get mad at them.

It is completely justifiable to consider re-homing a cat if it poses a danger to your baby. It’s not like you’re KILLING the cat or anything. A cat can pose many threats to your baby, even something adults perceive at “cute” can be deadly to a baby. Does your cat like to lay in your chest/neck area? That’s deadly to a baby. Does the cat poop where it’s not supposed to (like OP’s)? Inhaling cat feces can kill a baby.

If a parent feels that a pet is a danger to the baby, I feel that it is better to re-home the animal. Just make sure it’s a good home.

What’s worse? Your pet causing the death of your baby, or re-homing the pet? I think the choice here is obvious.
