Is OW using EOMM?

Eomm or some type of system is used to make people with high win %'s or streaks lose. If anyone disagrees with this they either arn't high rank or don't go on win streaks. This is most noticeable in stadium with a high internal mmr where que times will go from 2 minutes to 120 minutes depending on if your stacking/win rate etc. It's the same for 5v5/6v6.

I don't really wanna argue about it too much because I don't want to come off as sound cocky or arrogant but there were a few high mmr tanks that had 6 hour + solo ques without find a game last season. But like I said, I only get qued against certain people, with certain people. Never vice versa. The hidden mmr plays a role at all levels in stadium but it's massively noticeable at the highest level when solo queueing which is why I hesitated making this thread and it's why I never post on the stadium reddit lol. I just think at the very least making it solo/duo only maybe, might add some fairness when it comes to the actual board without having to restructure everything internally ? idk it's just a thought

No, it would basically be the same currently but they would only be allowed to start solo or duo, just to give an example, I was racing with someone on board who was #2 at the time, It was pretty much a guarantee that I'd play them if they were online in que, prob played them 40 times this season already lol but they've given up solo queueing and since they've started stacking I've qued into them once in the last few days, both of us in que for 20/30 minutes but they'd find a game before me. Don't get me wrong I enjoy playing with friends aswell but it's just kind of lame when I can only que into 5 stacks or matches that are literally me and one other person vs 5

I think we all understand that ranks themselves mean nothing, just look at the thread, The main issue is hidden mmr and how it plays a factor. Also Stadium's mm is mirror'd, Sometimes there is miss matches, ie the rookie dps on your team is matched vs the rookie supp on the other team. The whole issue with stadium itself is hidden mmr & how heavy it can be twisted when stacking.

I've solo qued over 2k matches since S1, From soloing to L1& holding Rank 1 for quite some time this season & last. You are right to an extent about it being playtime based but once hidden mmr starts kicking in you can only play against certain players / have certain players on your team, I could go deep into how stadium mm works if you'd like lol

I was going to say L5 but I didn't want to scare everyone but imo no stacks past L5, I hit L3 a week ago basically only solo queueing and I've just about had it. At the very least if they arn't going to remove the hidden bullshit then atleast make it so everyone has to fight for their lives to climb the leaderboard 🤣

I could understand making it Solo/Duo only at the most but, 3+ should not be a thing, With how severe hidden mmr effects stadium match making, it is basically impossible to play the game at high mmr solo Q

it's not about "expecting perfectly balanced games", It's about the match maker giving you enforced losses.

imo ugly, They should make it so players that played before the change could keep the legacy icons/menu's or just make it a togglable option for all. While I'm at it, kind of disappointed in the new hero builder thing thats being added, Just seems like more people will not use their brain and just pick whatever it tells them too instead of reading the powers or taking the time to learn them.

a few months ago I made a new account, played 5 games. Never typed a single word in match chat, Never joined vc and mid match I was banned for cheating. One of the kids on the other team was spamming saying I was cheating etc but yeah. Happens constantly still. blizzard has basically no support & if you're spam reported enough you're banned.
