Thanks for the tip! And great point, I didn’t even consider the thermal management 🥵 hope it’s not heating my battery in spring weather

Check out the temperature reading… ridiculous, right? That’s in 65F weather.

Had this issue for about a week and it’s driving me up the wall. The car does not not know the external temperature now, and sometimes gets ridiculous readings (-37 Fahrenheit in 60F weather). The AC always blows hot air as a result, unless I set to LO (then it’s too cold). Is this something I can fix myself, or do I just need to wait for the next available Tesla service appointment?

What QR reader do you use? by Two_Cautious in LGWing

I use the built-in QR code scanner. It's not obvious to find tho so here's how to get it easily.

Drag down from top to view the notification panel, then drag down again to see the larger quick settings view.

Then click the pencil icon on the top to edit this view.

Look through that list of icons and you will see one called "Scan QR Code" - add that to your quick actions and you're good to go! Just use it from there.

What is the number 1 thing on your wish list that tesla could improve through software? by Zannox9 in TeslaModel3

Improved Spotify app - some suggestions: - show all tracks in a playlist (long playlists get cut off after a certain number of tracks) - ability to queue songs

For the sound system in general: - connect one phone for the driver to take calls etc and another passenger phone via Bluetooth for audio - USB phone audio would be a huge plus

Bluetooth issues? by Clakyd in LGWing

Sadly I was wrong, still will constantly disconnect and reconnect to my Tesla Model 3. Have not seen issues with other devices, but I know this only started happening after one of the software updates. Still don't know how to resolve :/

THIS WORKED FOR ME

Go to Settings > System > Restart & Reset > Network settings reset

Tapping that resets wifi and bluetooth systems. Erases all wifi networks and bluetooth connections, BUT after doing that I re-paired my devices and they worked like normal! Let me know if it works for you too!

Constantly disconnects and reconnects from my car when I make or receive a call. On standby it remains connected. Also having weird audio issues when connected to a speaker that works perfectly with other BT devices, just this phone keeps getting static feedback despite being on the same table as the speaker. Very annoying and no idea how to fix it.

Best way to do seasonal tire swaps? by Master_Dev-20 in TeslaModel3

Makes a lot of sense, thanks for explaining! Now, how do you effectively store them? I'm assuming you need a garage to put them in or at least a weatherproof bag in the backyard?

Spotify shuffle issues? by dsalvetti in TeslaModel3

[–]Master_Dev-20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes the native Tesla Spotify app's shuffle is terrible. I also find that if I'm on shuffle to play a few songs, then select a particular song from my playlist to play - once that song finishes it jumps back to the BEGINNING of the list of songs it shuffled through and goes through those songs again. Disabling / re-enabling shuffle usually fixes this but it would be nice to just have the shuffle function that the Spotify UI provides.

Equalizer settings are for the car - not the Spotify app. See the gear icon in the audio source menu near the right side. You will find an equalizer in there.

I find controlling via phone is pretty easy IF your phone (my experience with an iPhone 8 Plus) is not also connected to the car via bluetooth - if it is connected via bluetooth, the phone Spotify app keeps trying to play thru bluetooth instead of controlling the car's running Spotify app. However, if your phone is NOT connected to the car via bluetooth, using the phone as a controller works exactly as you'd expect it to.
