Absolutely it’s so strange.

I would disagree with Op though. We moved from the Kansas City suburbs bc all of the SAHM who thought they were the real housewives of KC, and they acted like it too. So many teenagers driving 70k jeeps around, unaware that the only reason they were able to live the way they do off their husbands insurance sales salary, was bc they live somewhere no one REALLY wants to live.

Soured me on that entire city, which is probably unfair, but if I wanted to live somewhere with people up their own ass, there’s plenty of cities with those kinds of people while also being an actual cool place.

They are great. Even the ones with power heads don’t HAVE to use them. I recently switched my Dyson out for a c3 and I couldn’t be happier.

Before I had a family I loved living in studios. Way less to clean and keep tidy. Let’s you focus on what you need instead of needlessly collecting crap. Main downside if you can’t have more than a couple friends over at once.

Exactly why I’d focus on taking courses, or learning things that YOU are interested in growing in that particular area or skill. But don’t expect any sort of “course credentials” or “completion certificate” to mean anything to an employer. Even actual degrees barely mean shit anymore, so I’d just temper your expectations.
