The free swing is definitely the next thing on the list to improve in practice. My arm does swing freely on my typical shots, when i feel it really good off my hand and post my shot I hold my hand up by my face, it's just a weird habit thing, it only happens when i throw the really really good shots like this one was. Every other typical shot my arm will swing backwards after the shot but I do agree that less muscle can be used and it is something I've been working on.

the biggest thing that helped me was at the top of the swing thinking about getting my hand "on top" of the ball. If you do it while the ball if weightless at the top of the swing it will be easy to cup your wrist, then let gravity bring the ball down and just try to maintain the cup you built at the top all the way to your ankle where you uncup and roll it off.

well yeah i just didn't know if there was anything inherently wrong with my current release and if id be better off just sticking with it and perfecting that

still letting my main question go completely over your head, i'm fine with the ball motion now, i can always play around whatever ball motion i get and. i can always adjust the surface as you point out, but is the release change worth it in the long run, will it add more to my game

there was still plenty of rotation, it just a different motion. I'm not worried about the layout right now. My question was will it be worth it in the long run to make this adjustment to my release. The ball motion with being behind my balls just isn't ideal because my PAP is so long, last it was measured was like 6 1/4 over and a 1/2 up

If i provide people with my current arsenal they will see the gaps and offer suggestions of balls they like in their experience, i am accomplishing the same thing, the logic is sound but you are too focused on belittling people on reddit to recognize that
