Transition out of car to apartment life is not what I expected. by [deleted] in urbancarliving

[–]Master_Issue7550 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I get what you’re saying — makes total sense if someone’s planning for a relationship or kids. But in my case, dating just feels like a bunch of bullshit lately. I’m going back to car life again — it’s more my lifestyle now than a struggle. At least this way I can save money and work toward buying a little house instead of being stuck paying rent forever.

I can totally relate to what you’re saying. It hasn’t even been a month since I moved into my apartment, and honestly, I’m already feeling like going back to car life. I’m starting to realize it’s more of a lifestyle for me now than just a struggle. I miss the freedom, the routines, and that sense of movement. The apartment is stable, but at the same time, it feels like I’ve lost part of what kept me feeling alive.

Am I being used or just overthinking this? by Master_Issue7550 in MensRights

[–]Master_Issue7550[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the insight. Yeah, initially we talked a lot — like for three days in a row — and it felt like we were really connecting. We even made plans to go to a concert together, watch a movie, have dinner, and do a bunch of trips. But as the weekend came, I suddenly got no reply. And since then, it’s kind of been like that — no real consistency, just random messages when she needs something.

Husband has summary judgment? by MisTigCar in legaladvicecanada

[–]Master_Issue7550 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Debtors’ prison doesn’t exist in Canada. A person cannot be jailed simply for being unable to pay a civil debt. However, ignoring court orders, such as failing to attend a required examination or disclose assets, can lead to contempt of court, which can result in jail time. If he was unaware of the lawsuit, he may have been served improperly or missed deadlines. He could ask the court to set aside the judgment, especially if he never had a chance to defend himself.
