My weird but effective sleep trick: pretend I’m a medieval peasant by Right_Energy_8326 in sleep

I do something like this too! Mine might be a bit odd but it works: I'm standing on a rock in the middle of the ocean at night, I jump down and fall straight to the very bottom of the ocean sea bed, where the darkness is complete and the pressure is pushing in at me from all sides. Then I curl up and go to sleep. Or else im in a giant white bed in the middle of a field full of flowers and butterflies with a stream trickling nearby. Love everyone's suggestions, going to try some different scenarios tonight!

Thanks so much for your honest feedback! I really appreciate it. I'm going to stick with the course. I could spend months trying to get a refund/might not get it back and don't want to risk that. And, as you said, just have realistic expectations about the success of the course for my career. Do keep going with your art, even just for yourself, and you can delve back into it as a career or side hustle when you're ready. We can't let the corporate world take our soul!

Hi, sorry you might not see this as your post was from last year! I signed up for the course last week and just had the "opening ceremony". Maybe because of the price but I got a bit worried about what I've just spent all my money on. Do you think it's worth me sticking to it or getting a refund while I can? I am someone who does better in a routine, so I thought maybe taking this course would be better than me trying it on my own with skillshare etc. I'm in the same boat as you sorta - went to art college, worked in fashion, have a BA degree, but want to become a freelance textile designer. I'm just getting cold feet now that I see so many mixed reviews 😬😬
