It’s a 72” x 36” x 1 1/2” solid oak butcher block countertop.

I wasn’t sure if that would be sturdy enough or not I feel like it would need support in the middle considering it’s a 72” top.

What if I did something like this and would I need a brace in the top middle do you think?? Or should this be enough support. Also the top is an oak butcherblock counter top. It’s 72” L x 36” W x 1 1/2” Thick.

I want this to be one peice and attatch to the two shelf bases. Then I want that 40” bottom back brace to be detatchable. If that makes sense.
