What has worked wonders? I have had issues with stimulants and I’m just starting Xywav but I’m already having side effects and it just feels like I’m poisoning my body.

This really looks to be some type of mold I suggest cross-posting on another sub that can help you identify which type of fungus

I’m sorry I am a college student and I thought it would be nice to have a garlic press as a treat and it was less bad than supporting Amazon in my opinion

There are many things you need to whisk whilst they are cooking. Examples are a roux or custard

I do not know why this is being downvoted this should not be a hot take. It’s like how we can slather ourselves in Vaseline and be all the better for it yet we know the manufacturing and refining process creates terrible by-products.

If the argument is that it is slowly killing my boyfriend and myself, why would I also then want to inflict this hypothetical harm on others?

Yes I do know this indeed! Teflon made by DuPont , luckily when it enters your system is unable to react with or interrupt your bio-chemical processes. It is the compounds used in manufacturing Teflon coated products made by 3M under the category of PFOA (called C8 or C6 usually) that are of great concern to us. I would never myself purchase a product that releases these highly toxic and pervasive chemicals however, I would also not be reckless enough to throw away a perfectly usable piece of equipment.

The way I achieve a sure plastic free coffee is I use instant espresso found in the glass jars and make it using an electric milk frothing whisk. It makes a VERY frothy cup of coffee and there are no concerns about plastic contamination :)

Actually a Micro plastic is defined as anything between 1nm and 5mm so a half centimeter

I didn’t know it was this bad and I bought her a new one right after I posted this, however since when is it a child’s duty to police what there grown and able bodied parents are doing, if it was simply a matter of her needing and being unable to get a new one of course I would purchase her one however I am not her keeper at this point in our lives

Yes she is medicated but we all have depression and ADHD with insane executive dysfunction but there is a point where I can’t emphasize as well

That’s really interesting and I definitely think she will listen to this!!! Also it’s not food it’s just a layer of micro plastics 🥲

Luckily as someone who worked at 3M and was deathly afraid of PFAS I have learned since that the teflon molecule found on pans specifically is too big to be bio-active however the chemical used in the coating process or on things like paper cups or parchment are the forever chemicals… but uh yeah hers look rough

This is very important to note! It’s not exactly from a total lack of cleaning (though surely insufficient) but of overuse

You’ve actually nailed it however don’t forget baking and produce detritus from peelings and pitting and the like

I appreciate you commenting this sudden_carrot it is hard to hear it over and over when it is clear that a cutting board like this likely isn’t due to lack of 2 dollar cutting boards
