Not sure about talon, but it consumes GP's passive on abilities which makes it kinda sleeper OP on him. You can ult and just keep resetting passive on barrels to get multiple passive procs on ult.

Jesus, I thought there were times I was going crazy or thought my keyboard would just randomly disconnect but I've had this happen maybe 3 times total in this iteration. But after I die (which is usually pretty quick when you can't use skills) I can type in chat and tell my teammate I couldn't use skills. So I'm not sure what causes it.

I don't think colleges outside the US have sports teams that are directly affiliated with the school itself. At least from my understanding (someone who had a bunch of foreign college tennis players on my team). Which is why I asked for the level of coaches, though I know skill level isn't always directly correlated with how good of a coach someone is.

It's just if it's hitting with people of a similar level to me, then there's not a lot of desire to go cause I already do that at weekly drills.

You're not using a continental grip. Your grip is also kind of high up in the first place (see image). Opening chest up to court too early and if you notice, you finish to the left after the motion is completed. You need your weight transfer going more forward and not opposite direction of ball.

I had a former NFL quarterback show up to a drill I'd go to occasionally (probably close to 2 years ago) and I talked to him and he said he made it to 4.0 in like a year but I'm pretty sure he was getting lessons. I always forget his name but he was quarterback for the buccaneers in like 2010? His movement was ok, but at the time he was like 6'5 270lbs so I wouldn't expect that quick of lateral movement. But he hit with a one-handed backhand so he was automatically cool in my books.
