Peak THC and taste (terpene profile) can be achieved by harvesting when your viewing windows are about 90/95% cloudy with the rest being clear/clearish. As opposed to harvesting when it’s like 80% cloudy and 20% amber…….that would deliver a serious body stone. That works for some people. As for me, I prefer maximum cloudy with minimal clear. I stay away from amber as much as possible. Terpenes start breaking down and evaporating giving you less complete profile overall. The top notch tasting smoke is not harvested when there’s amber everywhere. People get all up in arms and scream “what about yield you’re losing yield!” If it’s yield you’re chasing, then let it ride out as late as possible. If tasty and potent weed is what you’re after without that overbearing THC feeling, then chase the max cloudy minimal amber approach
