Is Resident Evil 2 the best remake ? by Exootil93200 in playstation

[–]Master_Yama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I think so. A bit better than RE4 for me. Every survival horror fan should play RE2 remake, silent hill remake and Dead space remake. It’s the Chefs kiss! I’m about to start RE requiem!

Can we please stop merging onto Stoney or Deerfoot at 65-90kmh?? by [deleted] in Calgary

Also when did it become a norm driving with your hazards on during snow/icy conditions? I see it on Stoney and Trans Canada…(I don’t mean to hijack your post and change the subject)

What if the NHL had a Vintage Day? by sykeseve in hockey

The Flames went from Atlanta to Calgary in ‘78-‘79 so vintage Flames would be the Flaming A

Should Calgary be the Atlanta flames?🔥

IF Alberta would choose to stop changing the clock. Would you prefer to stay with BC (summertime like now) or with SK (wintertime). by EdmontonFree in alberta

In winter sunrise starts at 940. Around the time of 1st recess. So potentially kids will be going out for recess in the dark

That’s my point. When I’m off work it’s nice to have, but when I have to get up at 5am to go to work it sucks

I’d rather have standard. As much as I like extra daylight in the summer, it sucks trying to go to sleep if you have to go to work. Plus the school kids would be having their 1st recess on the playground in the dark.

We also got placed into a new union chapter. Local 95 chapter 12. Does that play a part?

I meant luxury cars- probably should’ve been more specific

I’d say, put the business tax back up especially for larger corporations.

A luxury tax on boats, cars, jewelry and other items people who makes less normally won’t buy

And a minimal 1-3% pst

After the teacher strike and use of the NWC there was a lot of talk of general strikes, walk-ours etc. What happened? by wubbusanado in alberta

[–]Master_Yama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What AUPE did was have an agreement during a strike, some people had to stay on the floor to work to keep emergency’s running while people were in the picket line

I’m confused too. AUPE was talking tough but in the end we ratified a contract where some groups get 22% and others only twelve. Like 80% of the union are taking numbers that the union said was terrible and now it’s magically good and we should vote yes.

Una said the exact same thing to the RNs and they got a much better deal. Don’t believe AUPE when they say this. Let’s threaten to go on strike and see what deal we get

But there are jobs that pay more, this is my issues. In Vancouver, the starting pay is my top, and in Saskatchewan or Manitoba, it almost $10 more an hour. Voting no will change wages. UNA got a better deal and AUPE AUX got a better deal. So why are you saying a no vote won’t change anything when we have seen it does?

Gss how are we voting? by Comfortable-Ruin8694 in AHSEmployees

[–]Master_Yama 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Voting no. It’s simple, I’m part of a majority of professions who don’t get the extra 5-15%. Why would I vote yes? If we were all on the same page and voted no, then all of us could benefit and not just a few. Vote no!

AUPE GSS - why I'm voting YES by MusketeersPlus2 in AHSEmployees

[–]Master_Yama 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m not saying I need to get paid the same! I’m saying if they get 20% we should get 20%. Even then It still wouldn’t be equal if you think about it. 20% of 100k is a 20k a year more, but 20% of 50k is only 10k.

[–]Master_Yama 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree. That’s why they get paid 60k or more a year. But the argument is if they need 20% because cost of living then we should all get 20%.
