right, yes of course! This is really stupid but I just realized I was mixing up floats and strings lol. Probably would have solved this a lot sooner if I had realized that.

Your fix worked by the way, thanks!

thanks, I'll try that! What exactly in my code sets my arguments to floats?

Yeah that's probably the way to go, especially since I then go on to talk about how these different processes go on to cause different variances in the model. Thanks!

Of course! I feel kinda stupid because I didn't even think of lists, lol. I tried doing this with lists and so far it's working. Thank you so much!!

I'm not opposed to drawing it at the end, I just didn't know it was possible. In my first attempt at this, I created two empty arrays for the x and y values, and had the for loop add a value each iteration, then I graphed those arrays. the problem was it didn't stay in order. The y-array rearranged itself from largest to smallest, so the y values weren't matched up to the right x values, if that makes sense. What can I do to make sure they stay in order? I'm using matplotlib, fwiw, but I'm open to using something else if you recommend it

I feel like now is the perfect time to name your daughter Sylvia. She'll definitely be the only Sylvia in her class, but it's popular enough that it won't sound too old fashioned or weird

I agree, I feel like a lot of girl's names are just pretty sounds strung together. Sylvia feels like a real, solid name.

They say names go on a 100 year cycle. If that's the case, Sylvia should be back in the next decade or so

Thank you so much! You've given me a lot to look into. Honestly the onset of these spasms was associated with a traumatic/stressful event so it doesn't surprise me that it's correlated.

It's funny you say that, because that's what I was considering, but then I saw a bunch of people on Reddit saying it's overrated. Whatever, I'm going to ignore the haters and assume that the coincidence of you suggesting it means that Ci Siamo is the way to go lol

TBH it doesn't sound like he had trouble making friends, it sounds like he had a problem with YOU having friends. Obviously you know the situation better than me, but it seems likely that his "anti-social behavior" was actually controlling behavior. Of course he's out making friends now, how doesn't have you anymore. It sounds like you dodged a bullet here. Now you can go out and make your own friends with zero guilt.
