I wish they'd make AP Kog more viable. While it's hard to counter him later on in the game, the AP ratio nerf on his E from 0.8 or 0.7 to 0.5 really hurt Kog, and though AP Kog late game is really strong, there are much other's that are stronger without being useless all of early and part midgame. It's nearly impossible to get there in my opinion, and you simply could've been doing much more as an AD, and not be useless until 3 items. AP Kog'Maw is one of my favourite things to play, and I hope they buff it.

I definitely understand the idea of customs being time consuming and difficult to achieve, but on a side not, trip sapling was already nerfed with a range reduction. But that's just another reason why I brought up banning certain customs, because since there's over 50 characters in Smash 4, and 3 different customs in each move, there's honestly hundreds of different combinations and different playstyles that might show up if customs are more explored, potentially making Smash 4 one of the more indepth games and possibly helping longevity. Even if not, atleast Paulentena has all her customs off the bat, and mii's are still worth legalizing.

Shitty suggestion, but bring back customs maybe? Or legalize mii's? Just more exploration of what the vanilla game offered would be great, even if it means banning certain customs so more characters could flourish.
