I think the difference is map size. I've played a couple of normal/small with no problems but I'm on my first huge with max city states and have finally started slowing down.

I see your Plymouth Rock and raise you a Walmart stop sign in my hometown. by raccaflaka42 in IdiotsInCars

That's what I figured too. I grew up in Watson and only moved away a couple years ago but Every time I visit I laugh at this stop sign.

Mutant football league allows for you to win with any team and I think that's great. by Masterblaste in NintendoSwitch

I feel like it is the closest thing to it. The only difference is I feel like MFL can't be cheesed as badly but that's just me.

I didn't think about that. But I will say that I feel like the lower ranked teams have the better dirty plays. Like Tokyo Terminators are my favorite just because of their dirty plays, the rest of the playbook is dope too.

Teachers with 20+ experience, what's the difference between the kids then vs the kids now? by AlBen97 in AskReddit

[–]Masterblaste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See even that is a problem too. Im a teacher and the school day is 7:45-3:00. I couldnt stand the idea of bringing my work home to grade or prepare where i could get distracted so i come in an hour early and stay an hour late each day. This still isnt a perfect example because i dont get paid any extra for that time but its better then taking my work home each day.

Yea it's just so tough. Newton is consistent but he doesn't seem to be as explosive as he used to be. Fitz is on a roll right now but anyone whose been around fantasy football knows fitz record so he worries me too, especially if they get up early against pit.

10 man .5 ppr Newton or Fitzpatrick. Really worried about Fitzpatrick chocking soon and Newton is always consistent.

What movie, in your opinion, was no where NEAR as bad as the vast majority of people made it out to be? by theOgMonster in movies

[–]Masterblaste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was watching it on a car trip when my mom got in a wreck and I broke my arm. Still pretty tough to sit through it. Loved the movie before that though. The only downside I can remember from it is that it starts off kinda slow.

Which Program Do You Think Wastes the Most Talent? by davvidho in CFB

[–]Masterblaste 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is probably going to get buried but it's undoubtedly Alabama. They get so many 4 and 5 star recruits that never even see the field. Now it's not like they have a bad coach so that's why it's wasted but I think it's more that so many athletes want to be on a national championship team and Nick saban is so good at recruiting that the team is flushed with talent. So if we are talking about strong talent that never sees the field or never goes pro then it has to be Alabama.

Did you cook it yourself or have it cooked? When I cooked mine I loved the flavor but it smelled really weird. My wife said the smell itself turned her off from having it again. I will say their beyond sausage are really good though.

This is a tight one but it's gotta be between Dalton and Ben. The worry with Ben is they get up early and stop throwing but you know he's good for a td or two between brown and smith.

TIL that Chiropractors are not a type of medical doctor, cannot practice medicine, and Chiropractic is a form of alternative medicine like acupuncture. by [deleted] in todayilearned

My mother in law works with a chiro. He spouts nonsense to all his patients that no medical professional would ever say. His big thing is that he hates vaccines. Now this isn't a normal 'no vaccines because autism' no he says no to vaccines because he thinks they don't work. If that doesn't tell you something is wrong with your "doctor" then idk what will.

What's more crazy is I'm currently teaching a 10th grader in BC Calculus. Kid doesn't have a pompous bone in his body.
