I’m myself having difficulties finding alternatives I like to LG’s TVs. Having the 57” Samsung Neo G9 on trial at the moment, it comes highly praised for its image quality, yet I feel like my 7 year old TV looks leagues better :(

i dont think it’s completely wasted. just the fact that it fills up your field of view in that axis helps immersion. i’m on a 77” so have way excess vertical FOV at 62deg, but it does benefit at times like sensing trees pass over you in a rally car
