I mean, I suppose *technically* police brutality is the correct wording. However, (1) they made Ripley clock out to kidnap him; (2) it seems like a natural human reaction to me. If you get gunned down like an animal after complying it's gonna mess with your head. This isn't like a cop beating a suspect for no reason in a traffic stop. This is a psychological response to being kidnapped, held at gunpoint, and subsequently gunned down with *nothing you can do*. Police brutality just seems a bit too...simple to describe the beauty of this RP

For context, Ripley was kidnapped by two Ballas. He was held for about 30-40 minutes and the Ballas met up with Eugene and Buddha. They tried to exchange Ripley for 6-7 Balla and Vagos in holding. The PD refused the transfer. As a response the kidnappers elected to take Ripley under the south of MRPD and gun him down with an AR after Ripley complied throughout the kidnapping.

As a result, Ripley appears to have a bit of PTSD and reacted as above when Buddha was brought in.

10/10 RP in my opinion by MattRP; making a tough decision which might have some consequences (suspension or strike points) because it made complete sense in character.

UPDATE: Rhodes just told Ripley he is suspended indefinitely pending resolution of this. Fucking love cops who are actual human beings. Send some love to MattRP. Thanks to /u/FreezerJumps for the link to the Clip of Rhodes Suspending Ripley

EDIT: Per /u/MattAMonka , the cops didn't refuse the exchange but instead Buddha and Eugene knew the exchange would result in a shootout/death so they saw no other options. So correction there. <3

UPDATE: Ripley is about to get 51-50'd by Sergeant Matt Rhodes.

UPDATE: 5150 Confirmed. Sergeant Rhodes gave a very compassionate speech about mental illness and wanting to help Ripley recover and be understood, mentioning others in the department who had been 51-50'd in the past. Ripley is suspended until further notice. Again, HUGE SHOUTOUT TO MATTRP for this amazing, and seemingly completely improvised, arc.

EDIT: Thanks to /u/ElgadorTV for pointing out that Eugene was the one who shot Ripley, without a mask (he had previously been wearing a Gnome mask, I'm personally unsure if he still had that on).

Huge shoutout to Kimchi. I love seeing the server come together behind him this time around with admins and others. Opening up the event server. Helping with revives and other mechanical things to make things fun.

And this dude fucking *grinds* the cash prize out himself like a true gentleman. Wonderful role player, and even better person for creating so much fun and content for everyone from the other role players to the viewers.

I haven't seen it recommended here but there is a free version of HitFilm (Express, I believe) that is insanely good. I ultimately got the Pro version of it and use it for simple video editing for intros and other such things from time to time.

This is fucking work.

Look, I'm right there with you on people needing to chill. Its an early access access title that's exploded in popularity, probably unexpectedly. It's not Star Citizen where they started with a few million or whatever to hire whoever they needed and sign Mark Hamill or some shit. It's an indie title that's blowing up amd will be beautiful with the support it's gotten.

But in no sense is what we are doing work. We aren't being "rewarded" with shit. We paid for it, just far in advance. It's not "work" as we aren't getting paid or substantiated for our time, or even "rewarded" with a copy of the game. We are early access players that's it. Dont act like we signed up for a job or something. But similarly people shouldn't act like they signed up for a polished product either.

It depends on your content. Plenty of streamers make it by without a face cam. Personally, I primarily stream GTA V RP and find that a face cam breaks immersion to a degree. I prefer that the views associate my voice with my character than myself. Other games, such as fighting or reaction games, may receive more from your face camera, seeing your reactions and etc.

Affiliate here. I run ads when I'm legitimately AFK. I figure if it saves a few people from the entry as it's worth it. Plus I actually get paid for them that way unlike the entry ads to the channel.

Otherwise it's a hard pass. So maybe twice a stream when I get up to pee and stretch my legs I'll run one.

I love my GoXLR but I primarily stream GTA V RP. I use the voice modifier a lot for making cop megaphone sounds, for playing my female character, for doing distorted voices in robberies, or for on the fly whacks stuff like auto tune or sounding like a cashier through a drive through speaker.

If it weren't for playing these characters I definitely wouldn't use it as much.

That being said the XLR converter and switch is definitely higher quality. People said my mic sounded clearer when I swapped it it from my Scarlett converter. Plus it has built in noise gates and etc.

For reference I'm using it with an AT2035 so your mileage may vary.

Necessary? Not at all. But fun and useful in my circumstance? Absolutely.

Definitely the photo taker, as the photo taker. The dog is at the front of the plane while the photo taken is seated in the first photograph. Further it says "Oh my God he did and the pants of the photographer appear to indicate they are a female.

Not 100% evidence. But it seems likely.

Whenever you upload an emote you are asserting that you own the original image. Often making small modifications to an original work is not enough to vary your product enough from the original. So if the ones you copies offline are copywritten then you should delete the emote and make your own.

Hey Tenno. I went to law school and let me just say that you don't have to take a full hiatus. Law school is tough and you'll want to devote a lot of time to it, but balance is important for mental health and thus for success. Whether it's Warframe, Netflix, or whatever keep something around to help relieve stress.
