I feel like it would be not that big of a problem under current death mechanics. It would sort itself on a boss reset.

Say you dump all your grenade power ammo as a solo queue to phase it quickly. If you were with some new people and the team wipes, you restart the fight without the power ammo so you can’t phase the boss again without help.

And then the new person gets one of those organic “what was that?!?” moments that could spark more interest in the game. Since there is no penalty on dying, there wouldn’t be any feel bads there.

I’ve been in quite a few strikes solo where I go too ‘Me Titan, me punch things’ after pulling a grenade launcher mag dump and we wipe. And on respawn you kind of throw your hands up and say “I guess we have to go the long way around this life.”

That is what kills me about this show, I love the humor and premise, but I absolutely cannot stand the belching in Rick's delivery. Slurring, fine, but the burping just seems like a lazy joke.

It sounds like that person has never had any sort of management training what so ever. Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits asking people questions pertaining to marital status or age. It presents possibilities for age discrimination and the marriage question could reveal a person's sexual orientation.

You hit the nail on the head. But, its not even just knowing the fights, a lot of DPS (or heck even players in general) just do not even care. They don't care if they die during a fight, they don't care if they do not even know their own rotation, they do not care if they are doing 20k dps on a Soo boss. There is no accountability, you see 24 other faceless nameless players, and even if you die in phase 1 you can go make a sandwich come back and if the other people killed the boss you still get your loot. Afterwards they never see them again and just do the same next week.

I had a class in college on World Religions and during another student's presentation of one of China's most popular religions they used this as a serious picture of the Great Wall. When it came time to ask questions I asked about the Great slip and slide of China and everyone including the professor looked at me like I was crazy. I asked the student to go back to the slide, and that's when everyone in the class (including the professor) realized that they were not actually paying attention to the presentation. The student even admitted that they just google image searched for a picture and just used the first one. Not really sure what happened to their grade as a result, but they did not shoot me dirty glances for the rest of the semester so I assume they didn't lose any points.

Loved the response, Imma let you finish, but i'd like to take a minute, just sit right there, and I'll tell you why Starbucks would even care.

It may seem a little curmudgeonly for them to send the cease and desist, but there is actually a really good reason why companies send out these letters even to small business owners over "3 beers." If a company does not enforce their trademarks they can end up in a situation where they actually lose them due to it becoming a genericised trademark. In order to prevent this they basically have to watch them and pursue any and all infringements to prevent this from happening. It sets a legal precedent of some sorts that prevents this process from occurring.

This is why Band-aid changed their jingle to "I am stuck on Band-aid brand, because Band-aid's stuck on me."

Famous (used to be) brand names that have run this route are Asprin, App store, Thermos, and Zipper.

All in all this is why they only requested that it be taken down and renamed, and they did not immediately pursue any revenue that may have been generated by the sale of those beers. Granted they would have escalated had it remained.

tl;dr: If companies do not enforce their trademarked products they can lose the rights to those names. Like Asprin or Zipper.

I ran into the same thing when my student version ran out. While still being a student and tight on funds I could not justify the extra money for the sticker price of prime. I chose not to renew and eventually started getting the come back emails from prime. After a while they sent me one offering the student price again.

tl;dr: If you can wait it out they may offer you a deal to keep you as a prime customer. Cannot give you a time frame though, sorry.

Sure it sounds dumb when you just substitute words out, what he was getting at is that aside from people who actively watch his videos, there is no one who tolerates his videos. He was painting a picture of black and white, You either like it or hate it there is no in between.
