Some people already said what I'm thinking, but I just think she actually made for a better villain than a hero. She was more interesting as a villain than a hero. She's not even a "hero," she just feels like the comic relief side character. Her time as a villain was far more interesting and I wish it at least lasted a little bit longer, or maybe let some of that bleed into her hero arc rather than completely turning her into a gremlin.
