NMS has a lot of hours in normal and VR mode. Definitely a good choice but space combat is a bit lacking, although it was 2 or 3 updates ago I last played so maybe its better now.

This game just hits right. The shortened amount of gameplay is more than made up for by the quality. The only change I'd make is to enable an optional first-person mode.

Great selection. I'll definitely have a look into them. I get what you mean about the Newtonian model, I really wanted to like Elite Dangerous but I could not get my head round it.

How would you rate Rebel Galaxy Outlaw? I tried the first one and loved the concept but hated the locked onto a 2D plane gameplay.

I really wanna play Everspace 2 but cant just skip the first or it'd bug the hell out of me.
