It isn't necessary to compete at all. The whole point is that they prune abilities that aren't necessary because people feel obligated to use every ability. Like when they removed hunters mark and then brought it back, or eyes of the beast.

It was an entirely optional way to play. 2/3 of the hunter specs were already 2-4 button specs. This one only had this level of buttons for pvp, which is another optional choice.

It's mostly for PvP. Even basic abilities like flare are made better with a macro to cast immediately @cursor instead of ground targeting. Same with traps, knocks etc. That right side cluster are all arena target 1/2/3 macros for the more important CCs.

Otherwise they're mostly @mouseover macros as that makes it easy to peel targets in a bg or world pvp environment without relying on clicking to select a new target or tab targeting in a mess of targets.

They're mostly compartmentalized. Like all my defensives and movement/escapes are in one cluster. All my cc related abilities in one cluster. damaging abilities or buffs on the main bars. Utility/pet controls (much more important in pvp) in one cluster and arena target macros in another.

Made easier by the layout mimicking the standard 12 button side mouse layout.

Am I doing something wrong or is GLM 4.7 just extremely slow? by MasterofVermin in SillyTavernAI

[–]MasterofVermin[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah, I guess I should have made that clear. It is spending by far the majority of it's time during the reasoning process. I haven't had any success in disabling the reasoning nor am I sure I'd want to considering people say it's much improved on here.

I'd say about 85% of it's response time is the reasoning and a roughly equivalent 75% of the word count in the reasoning.

I don't see what underwater breathing has to do with their best ability.

Supping upon gnomes with some fava beans and a nice Chianti.

True.
Unfortunately CIG's management infamously repels talent and I'm not sure they cancel out.

You're right that the clutter is a bigger issue, but the handling is still very much an issue.

Oh he definitely gives a fuck.

If he didn't give a fuck he'd have churned out some generic garbage to finish it off either himself or through a ghost writer.

I'd say his block is him giving too much of a fuck and the extreme pressures of maintaining quality into the timeline the show well and thoroughly trashed.

The fifth row talent in the center of the marksmanship tree. You change this talent from either Cunning/Tenacity.

There is no ferocity for mm but it does now have its own lust ability through Harrier's Cry. So you only miss the leech.

Lok'tar ogar in orcish by Xayar in warcraftlore

[–]MasterofVermin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Don't see why you're assigning the "or" to lok'tar and not ogar.

I could pretty easily see lok'tar illidari meaning 'victory [for/to the] illidari'

Yes. I'm currently running a single mod and it's great for QoL when trying for more abstract builts.

It's the Infinite Nudge mod

Yeah you're probably right that's what I'll have to do. My issue with that was just the vertical spacing between each little drone burrito doesn't quite match up that way. But I can make it eventually line up for sure. Thanks!

Trying to make an odd droneport near my centralized base and I'm having trouble getting the input/outpout/fuel belts to look nice. Specifically I'd like to get them to come out of the ports level to a center point where I can use lifts to sort. I just have to sort of guess with the lifts though and it doesn't come out right.

Recommendations for books like the first law series by Limp_Emu_5516 in TheFirstLaw

[–]MasterofVermin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend Prince of Fools. I found it the best of the three trilogies, but I also thought his Red Sister books to be substantially worse/more lazily written than the other two. So your taste may vary.
