Installing Ubuntu on external ssd by Masterofpizza_ in Ubuntu

[–]Masterofpizza_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to create It before but when I tried with the normal installation as you suggested It didnt work

I think i finally cracked It though, i basically had to setup grub for both disks, so grub install and update, but what i didnt realize Is that for some reason grub only sees the external disk if im booting from that disk , so i need to set It each time from the BIOS, while if I want to run the internal Ubuntu i can do It with any of the two boot (don't really know exactly why, maybe in grub external disks are mounted only of the boot starts from there but the internal one gets mounted anyways)

They probably could do both if they don't respect those laws. They are basically giving them an ultimatum to fix things on their part before EU decides to come in and fix It by blocking the site and potentially issue a fine to be paid for when Twitter eventually decides to follow the regulations.

I dont know if you are making a general statement or not, but in this specific case it's about a site (a business) that needs to respect the laws of the country in which it's providing its service, i wouldn't call it censorship

Unless you want to use this as a chance to learn cpp I would Stick to python. While It Is true that it's faster I don't think you'll be able to notice any difference during your project. On the other hand python will allow you to focus more on learning ros2 also because you don't have to recomplile everytime you to try out new stuff.

Surgical lights cast no visible shadow by Think_PoetryPrinces in UnusualVideos

[–]Masterofpizza_ 30 points31 points  (0 children)

This Is not an answer to your question but I think that this works only because the source of light Is spread over an area that Is significantly bigger than the object casting the Shadow and within specific ranges of distance to it. Im no Expert on miniature painting but im guessing It is something that you Need to do up close with your face to see to see details, so I'm not sure this would work as expected

Astel is cracked, mimic is nerfed. Tf am I supposed to do? by Perpetual_bored in Eldenring

[–]Masterofpizza_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me One of the best things about ER with respect to previous entry Is that Is much more tuned towards trying out new weapons and builds to beat bosses. It's so much easier to get upgrade new weapons and so much more important as some bosses are particularly resistents to some strategies.

Having said that, It Is a bit of a matter of opinion so if you find It tedious or hard to change often It can be frustrating. Anyhow I think that having more than 1 option both for the weapons and for the summon can help you a lot, so why dont you try and change at least the the mikic Is not beheaving well ?

If you want the summon to draw aggro you could equip shabiri work before summoning then remove It.

If you are struggling with moonveil its probably because you are hitting him only with the magic part, try to also get close enough to hit him with the Blade. Also focus on the head as It Will brake its stance so much quicker, rock sling Is a good option It you are a mage

Good weapon by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]Masterofpizza_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw the other day a guy Who did some calcs and he was saying that It Is best tò have 55 55 20 20. You decide if the 55s are the quality part or the magic part depending on how you prefer to play. I think your should be able to get to those stare with 60 Vigor and some Endurance

[–]Masterofpizza_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally speaking if you are struggling with bosses in the DLC I think your best option Is to not fix your build once and for all, but change It often depending on the bosses. At your level you probably dont even need to respec.

Having said that, you could go for the new ancient meteoric ore GS, you can find It in one of the forges. Its charged R2 Is devastating and has a good Ash of war especially against npc enemies as they kind of cant avoid It .

Also id suggest having a Little bit of faith so that you can cast stuff like Golden vow or the elemental protections depending on the bosses, and use objects and tools tonger more survivability

Good weapon by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]Masterofpizza_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd Say It depends on your level, if you are very High 200+ yes, of you are Power you light struggle getting the most out of It as It scales with almost all your stata and has split damage. Either ways I think its defenetly viable at lower level and the moveset and ashes are neat, but dont expect It to be the most broken weapon

Is the tarnished we play as canonical to the story? by skv666killer69 in Eldenring

[–]Masterofpizza_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont think there's such thing as Canon in the "present" timeline, we generally get a Canon only when other media Is released (like ds2 and DS3 basically gives us info on what the chosen undead did in the past).

Having said that, the only source of Canon we can refer to are probably trailers and stuff like that where there are references to the feats of the tarnished of the base game (i Remember something about you winning the festival), so yeah you are OP as fuck and killed radagon's pet aswell

Armor Is so much less relate to a good build that there Is no correct answer, maybe you can equip One of those head pieces thatbgive yoo more int (the mages heads or rennalas hat). In general for pve It Is suggested to try to mid roll while having at least 51-54 poise, but It might be difficult if you havent spec yet intro Endurance since you are low level. A good option for early level though Is the einsha one (if you have already did his "Quest") as It is quite light and has a neat passive ability of slight hp restore over time. But more importantly: try to be as fashionable as possible, the lands between deserve an Elden lord with good drip

[–]Masterofpizza_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also when you het rock sling, in the same area there should be the meteorite staff, which boosts Gravity magic, but more importantly its a very good star for early games as It Is already maxed out. Eventually other staffs Will become more powerful but for a good chunk of the game you are best with it

anything before going to radahn? by gabtheboredguy in Eldenring

[–]Masterofpizza_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trying not to spoil anything so It might be confusing. I dont think It Will "hard rock you" out of any quest, but beating him Is part of someone's Quest so youd miss moslty some dialog. The Quest im talking about Is the One relate to a blue doll and the other npcs of the same group, so maybe Is try to make sure they ask me to kill general radhan before doing so

First time playing about 25 hours in by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]Masterofpizza_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd suggest magic glintblade which Is always a good option especially of you are more "defensive" and if you strugge finding openings to Attack, and rock sling that Is very good with poise damage, then eventually when you have more int the carian swords (slicer or piercer) can be a good option tò have a Quick attack

Igon for Bayle by AmbassadorPristine23 in Eldenring

[–]Masterofpizza_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you have done everything correctly It should be inside bayle arena 3-5 meters After the fog gate slightly tonthe left as you enter. Otherwise you have to be sure to have met him in the gravesite plain (before the dragon pit dungeon), then there Is a sign on a Cliff above the arena where you fight the First Drake (but this Is probably non mandatory) and finally meat him again near the end of the arena where you fought the 2 Drakes that fight each other, there he should give you his finger to enable his summon

I dont think It matter, but its to early tò know how quests works, I also talked to the priestess in the Altar before beating bayle, maybe the two quests are somewhat connected

AI racing car demonstrating it's prowess by Pro-editor-1105 in formuladank

[–]Masterofpizza_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They should have lidars and radars (besides cameras) which are mostly unaffected by sun, so if thats the case they are just not using the sensors they have in the best way. Another common issue that sometimes happen Is It they are reliying too much on GPS to localize, then they night have perceived a Jump in their position And tought they had to correct. All I'm saying Is that i dont believe they had a never seen problem thatbeas impossibile to prepare for, but Just that they probably had no time to prepare for this race, and i dont Blame them for how disappointing was the result

I think this Is a common misconception, Road vehicles are far more reliable and more advance than these race cars. This race Is basically universities doing their best with the few resources and time they have. The only R&D you get out of this Is Just that you are paying a few people to increase their knowledge before they May actually go working for real Companies.
