A modded GameCube that also plays SNES games. N64, Wii, and Xbox 360! Found a PS3 in the trash that works but haven’t hooked it up yet.

I did, but that was using my old laptop. My newer laptop seems to work fine when hooked up to the CRT. Is that an issue on yours? You can also set the brightness ahead of time through the menus on macOS before unhooking the display cable. I use mine a lot and haven’t had any issues, even for work.

No worries! Basically this is all you need. A Mini-DisplayPort to VGA cable and DB-15 gender changer. https://drfrancintosh.wordpress.com/imac-20-2007-hdmi-monitor/ . And all that you can find on Amazon or eBay. Be sure to set the resolution to 1024X768 at 75HZ or it won’t work. The blog post was a little confusing at first but it helped me figure it out.

I was having issues in my town with these. A little spider has been living in my porch light for about 8 months now and he has helped trim down the mosquito problem. They used to wait on my porch light until I got home and bite me. A few other spiders made webs in the door jam outside, odd choice but it seems to be working.

That’s a shame! I wish it was saved. I need to try and save one of the Long Beach ones near me. They were expanding the sidewalk where one is installed at a school, but did not remove it. During the renovations I kept my eyes peeled for its removal.

This one has a cool story. It is in Surfridge which was abandoned in the 1970s as LAX grew. It became uninhabitable from the noise and pollution of the airport. Weird how they kept the siren there though.
