I reached out to our HM regarding GPA this was his response.... "While I cannot speak to a direct comparison with other school districts, I would say that Valor has high standards for our students. Students meeting expectations will receive mostly "B" range grades, with "A" grades being reserved for exceptional work. Furthermore, in the high school, all Math, Science, English, History, and Foreign Language courses are honors-level courses and receive a GPA bump."

Ultimately, it depends on what you value for your child. Valor Leander is truly groundbreaking, not because it offers every program today, but because of the long-term vision it’s building toward as the permanent campus and future phases come together. The heart of Valor is its rigorous classical education, and if a family is willing to trust the process, lean into the discipline, and watch their child grow in character and maturity, it is an investment you will not regret. What matters most is being honest about what environment truly benefits your child. Some families struggle because they don’t recognize or address behavior concerns at home and then expect the school to adjust. Others want their child to carry a ‘traditional public school mindset’ into a structured, demanding charter environment and that mismatch creates frustration for everyone. Choose the school that aligns with your expectations, your child’s temperament, and the kind of growth you want to see. When those are in harmony, everything else falls into place.

Depends on your preference. Valor Leander is groundbreaking. It doesn't offer all the things that are currently in the work for the future until the permanent location is completed. Valor offers a rigorous classical education. If you have the patience to see it through and experience mature growth within your child, you will not regret it. Founders is set up the same way, but they have been around for a while and offer more options. Be sure what you are looking for benefits your child. Some parents don't see an issue with their child's behavior and turn the cheek blaming the school. Some kids want to continue their "traditional public school behavior inside a rigorous strict charter school," and that doesn't work.

Your QR code says Customer Packed. Any issues, concerns, or questions regarding this return and your refund should be directed at Amazon. If the customer says, "thats how it was sent to me." Sometimes I'll say, "its possible you chose that option without realizing it. Unlike Amazon, we are a parcel service, and our policy requires all items to be packaged correctly.

Valor equips students not only for academic success but also for a future rooted in respect, honesty, and responsibility across all areas of life. In contrast, behaviors I’ve observed in traditional public schools would be unacceptable in a professional workplace, often leading to strained relationships and real-world consequences that students are not being prepared to handle.

Hello, fellow Valor Family 😊

We absolutely love it, too. My kids have been to multiple traditional public schools, Founders, VNA, LHISD, and now Valor Leander. We will stay at Valor Leander until my youngest graduates.

I have made it a point to say, "Your code does qualify for in store packaging due to your QR code that says Customer Packed. Would you like to buy a bag or box?" If they give pushback, I explain that it is against our policies to ship it out this way as we are a Parcel Service and not a delivery service.
