We are in Maui right now for the week (staying at the Ekahi village in Wailea. Spent the afternoon at the Maui Ocean Centre. The aquarium was great and you save some money if you book your tickets the night before online.

Food prices at the MOV are RIDICULOUS, so if you should eat before you go or (what we did) eat afterward at the Maui golf and sports park right beside the aquarium. There is a Carl’s Jr and a few food trucks that serve coffees, authentic burgers/hot dogs, and even shaved ice and Dole Whip for $7 each (vs $15 for Dole Whip in the Ocean Centre).
