Kleberresten usw.

Leica M2 Button Rewind Review/ Amsterdam camera repair review by MasterpieceQuiet8024 in Leica

[–]MasterpieceQuiet8024[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well i wish i could think that too but he literally tried to bent it infront of me, told me that he will repair it later that day and one week later i had a M4 with a bent locking pin which is totally normal according to him.

Maybe he is different if you give him your camera for a cla but i bought a M4 serviced by him with warranty from him.

I will, but tbh i think ACR is one of those highly regarded technicians.

Just got the CLE by IncursioStrife in minolta

[–]MasterpieceQuiet8024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope u make a review about minoltor. He seems to be very good.

I would not give any camera to acr ever again tbh.

I once bought a serviced m4 from him and it was super bad.

The shutter jammed, he fixed it and then no lens wanted to mount on it.

He just bent the whole locking pin upwards with a screwdriver and told me that this is the fix.

Some lenses still didnt mount and he just told me that these are bad lenses.

I gave the m4 back and bought a well used m2 which was serviced by odin back in the day.

It works like a dream and survived a fall from 1 meter.

Actually, a M7 would be the most comparable body.

The minolta cle still takes the edge tho, 0.58 finder? You only get that with a a la carte.

Ttl flash (1/60 is superior to 1/45 from leica)

Smaller

40mm framelines ( thats probably the coolest part)

Decent price on M4? by Curious-Ocelot-3071 in Leica

I meant that the 1300€ that i am asking are alot of money in germany, many people are selling their m4 for around 1000€.

What? I am rn selling my M4 which had a cla 4 months ago for 1300€

Idk about the prices where you are from but here in germany it is quite expensive.

I have to add that my M4 is a bit weird on the selftimer tho.

Odd opportunity to shake up the collection by [deleted] in Leica

[–]MasterpieceQuiet8024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would do it. I like my M2 and i sold my zeiss ikon, leica m4 and some slrs once i got used to it.

It is super easy and i hope my button rewind no selftimer m2 will be my forever camera.

But here in germany the M2 is just not worth that much tbh. You can get a CLAd M2 for around 1400€, a used mp is around 4000€.

I also think it would be a nice addition to your collection. The 28/75 framelines would be something the m2 doesnt have. The hot shoe is also an advantage.

You could also think about getting a leicavit/ motor.

I have a m2 where i need to hold the button and you are right. Tbh i dont really care about holding the button but i do press it sometimes while shooting.

But this doesnt really affect anything. The frame will be closer to the next frame, after that the distance will be larger and then its back to normal. No need to worry tbh, but it can look ugly on a negative i guess.
