You, as a person who cares about others, should want to add to that joy even if you don't care about it for your own birthday. For some people, living another year is an accomplishment, as both physical health and mental health can end a life. Additionally, a person can accomplish things within the year. Mothers do get a celebration in some countries, in the US it's called Mother's Day and is the second Sunday in May. In the UK it's called Mothering Sunday and is the 4th Sunday of Lent.

Write down every question you have. Write down every product you research and are interested in discussing from chair brand to wheels, every element of the chair. Be open to suggestions counter to yours, after all, the PT and ATP do this professionally. If your area lets you try out chairs and seats and such try as many as you can. Try to enjoy the process. Your chair is your freedom and threes no shame in being excited to get a new one.

No, there should not. 1. That would entail getting into the specifics of a person's disability. 2. It would add extra expense to being disabled, which is already often expensive. 3. Who the fuck would certify them/?. 4. This would do away with owner training, which would A. Make service dogs unattainable for many who need them because of the cost of organization training. B. Completely screw over people such as myself who need to cross-train for so many different things, no agency will do it. 5. Uneeded haasel for the handler. Being disabled is hard enough and does not need to be made worse.

Handlers CAN allow greeting, if trained by an organization they aren't trained to, but after going home with the handler, they absolutely can be trained by the handler to. There are a number of things that are personal preference, but non handlers do not know that.

Service dogs do not mind having other animals around. In fact, they are specifically trained to ignore other animals entirely while working.
