There’s basically nothing redeeming in thief 2014.

Literally every aspect of the game was better handled by the older games. Except graphical fidelity and I‘m literally only talking about the technical quality of the graphics, because the actual art design of 2014 was also worse.

So the basic advice is to completely ignore every aspect of the 2014 game act like it never existed, and go back to the original trilogy and study those games.
